Visited here around noon on a Monday. Parking is free and accessible but limited and tight. The restaurant has a very lively atmosphere and was clean, fresh, and welcoming. The staff seemed a bit occupied and relaxed rather than attentive and welcoming like the restaurant’s atmosphere. I ordered a small oxtail plate. It was a bit overpriced at $26. I had 2 large oxtails, a medium one, and a small one. The food was seasoned well and tasted great however the oxtails were tough...
The food here is reasonably priced for the amount given. Customer service lacks everything. My visit the servers seemed a bit stand offish and not happy to be working with the public. The coco bread did not have the normal flavor and texture that I'm used to when visiting other Jamaican restaurants. It was dry and hard.
I’ve passed by this restaurant many times and finally decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did! It truly serves the best Jamaican food in the city. The chicken, whether white or dark meat, is incredibly flavorful. Highly recommend!
