The decoration and store is neat, clean, and friendly. I decided to give them a visit because I saw a line that reached out the door and wanted to give them a try. It was a Saturday night so it was busy and only saw 3 workers so I expected a longer wait time, which I didn’t mind. When it was my turn, the worker didn’t wear gloves and I saw her hand touch the inside of the ice cream buckets. When she was scooping ice cream, the back of her hand came in contact with the ice cream. Other than that, the waffle cone is salty and wasn’t a fan of it, but that’s just my opinion.

Great ice cream as always. Waffle bowls were stale and not up to Jeni’s standard.

Unacceptably slow service. Takes 10 minutes of waiting in line just to pay. But the time it’s all done you will have finished your ice cream while standing in line, which is not the experience one comes up Jeni’s for

Good, if overpriced, ice cream let down by abysmal service. Watched multiple people walk out, myself included, after waiting in the separate line for pints and having every employee in the store ignore us for 15+ minutes. I've had multiple bad service experiences here and won't be a return customer.

That Gooey Butter Cake is something special!
However, I always get vanilla as a true test of how well they do the fundamentals, and it was bang on average.

I had an amazing experience here with my daughter and bestie!! LaMarr was an absolutely pleasure and so very patient with us as he went over the flavors and explained what was in each. My daughter and I love ice cream and this was our first time here but definitely won't be our last!

I recently visited Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams on Battery Avenue in Atlanta, and I have to say, it was a delightful experience. The first thing that caught my attention was the inviting atmosphere – it's small but well-designed, with a clean and vibrant feel that fits perfectly into the lively Battery district.

When it comes to the ice cream itself, the selection was impressive. Jeni's is known for unique and sometimes unconventional flavors, and they certainly didn’t disappoint. I sampled a few before settling on the Brown Butter Almond Brittle which was fantastic. The flavors were bold and distinct without being overwhelming, and the texture was rich and creamy, just as you'd hope for in a premium ice cream shop.

One of the things I appreciated was the ability to taste-test as much as I wanted before deciding. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient, offering suggestions without being pushy. It made the experience feel a little more personal.

On the downside, the shop itself is a bit small, it as very crowded, but we were there on a game day – finding a place to sit was tricky.

Overall, if you're looking for something sweet and a little different while you're at The Battery, Jeni's is absolutely worth the visit. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait during peak times, but I promise, it’s worth it!
