In the Battery Atlanta and stopped in and we loved it! Awesome flavors and great service! We did a reel for it in our page!!
I came here to say, I have never heard of this brand before but last night while shopping at my local Jay C (kroger), I stumbled across the Gluten free Gooey Butter cake ice cream and i’m so very glad I did!!! it’s delicious!!!! It’s not often us Gf people get to have cake and I actually don’t care for ice cream. I rarely eat it but that has all changed thanks to Jeni’s. I love it so much I might have ate half of it in one sitting….we listen and we don’t judge 😝. A+++++++++. Please don’t stop making this!
Poor service at chapel hill location
I used to love this ice cream. I want to love it. Unfortunately the quality of their ice cream has greatly declined. I have purchased skillet cinnamon 3 times now over the past few months. Every single pint had maybe 1 inch of cinnamon ribbon in it. I may as well just go get a pint of vanilla ice cream at this point. The kicker is the label on the side says “…and cinnamon (lots of it)…” NOT A CHANCE. It’s like this with the Boston Cream Pie (no chocolate), and the Biscuit and Peach (no peach). I have to get the ice cream at a Jeni’s location if I want the same experience. But the pints are aweful.
It’s Jenni’s in a closet.. as long as you don’t mind not sitting.. no biggie.. still the same awesome service and ice cream

AAAMAZING! The Gooey Butter Cake Ice Cream is to die for!
Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream – A Disappointing Experience
My experience at Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream was far from positive. While the company talks extensively about its values and commitment to strong company morale, I found that these ideals were not reflected in reality. Instead, I felt overworked and unappreciated, and the lack of genuine employee support was disheartening.
One of the most demoralizing experiences was being given an ultimatum between my job and my Islamic faith. Despite requesting reasonable accommodations for my religious practices, I was forced into an impossible choice, which made it clear that the company did not respect or value diversity as much as it claimed. This was not just disappointing but also deeply disrespectful.
My growth was stunted during my time there. After taking over a store that was in upheaval and successfully turning it around, I still faced unfair treatment and a lack of recognition for my efforts. Rather than fostering a supportive environment where employees could thrive, I found that the culture at Jeni's prioritized the company’s image over the well-being of its workers.
Overall, I cannot recommend Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream as a place to work, especially for those who value inclusion, fair treatment, and personal growth.
I had a wonderful time here. I was overwhelmed with the choices but thankfully Carlie helped me ! Her customer service was amazing! I can’t wait to come again.

Not a good Jeni’s location. Service is slow, and scoops are small. They also frequently decide not to make fresh waffle cones.
Go to one of the other locations- this one should shut down.

I hate to say it, but truthfully, it's the worst ice cream I've ever had. It took about 30 minutes to get our I scream out of a 10 customer line. Not awful. However, the ice cream tasted very bland, and I am not sure if there was an issue with the waffle bowls, but they were the saltiest cones I ever ate. Imagine a salt encrusted salmon, and you're not far off. I'm just sad that something hyped itself up so much didn't taste so awful. Save your money, go to Cold Stone, or DQ, or the publix next door.

We love Alani and Caroline!! They made our night!! Super super patient with us trying way too many flavors, knowledgeable about the ingredients, and so friendly! Everyone knows Jeni’s ice cream is amazing, but these girls made the experience extra special. I’m never going to another location again!

This is by far my favorite Jeni’s location (not to say there is anything wrong with the others, because there is not) the staff who helped us (Alani) was super friendly and was very patient while we sampled the new flavors. The quality of ice cream served at Jeni’s is top-tier, definitely worth it!

Went there with my daughter after school and Alani was so sweet! after I left I felt like I had just made a new friend. She was at the beginning of working a 12 hour shift at that, while still managing to be in a good mood , funny and kind, not only to me but also my two year old as well. Love her.

Honestly, I agree with the commenter from a month ago — the service at this Jeni’s lately has gone super downhill. The lines are always insane, and the servers inside look annoyed to be serving you/intentionally move super slowly. It’s a shame because we’ve been coming to this location since college and it’s the closest one to us, but we drive out to the Krog location now since they’re more efficient and kinder.
