To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my disappointment with a recent visit to one of your Jersey Mike’s locations.
My wife, who is currently pregnant, and I had already visited two other Jersey Mike’s locations that day to ensure she could get the correct ingredients to accommodate her pregnancy cravings. When we arrived at this store, we expected the same level of professionalism and customer care we have experienced at other Jersey Mike’s locations in the past.
Unfortunately, that was not the case. The employee assisting us behaved in an unprofessional manner, including speaking to my wife in a way that made us uncomfortable and engaging in inappropriate joking and flirting rather than focusing on providing proper service. Given my wife’s condition and the effort we had already made to ensure her needs were met, this was especially disappointing.
After leaving the store, I called to speak with a manager regarding the experience. Instead of being directed appropriately, the employee I spoke with was unhelpful and appeared to provide false information, including giving an incorrect manager’s name. This only added to the frustration and made it clear that my concerns were not being taken seriously.
I did not appreciate the way my wife was spoken to, nor the lack of respect shown to my family. Customer service, professionalism, and honesty should be standard at any Jersey Mike’s location, and this experience fell well below that expectation.
As a result, neither my family nor I will be returning to this store. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used as an opportunity to address employee conduct and customer service standards moving forward.

12-29-2025 @ 6:10 pm my husband and I walked in to this restaurant and we were not greeted at all and we stood there waiting for someone to take our order or at least say someone will be right with you all. There was 1 female and at least 4 males standing behind the counter or partially standing in a back area and NOBODY acknowledged us. They were just talking amongst each other. We happily walked out and took our money somewhere else. My advice is get a manager on duty who will not allow this behavior because if you have no customers, you don’t get paid. By the way we 2 were the only ones in the restaurant. Do better people!

I visited Jersey Mike’s today around 4:40 PM on Christmas Eve. While discussing ingredients with a friend, a lady preparing a sandwich for someone else abruptly told me, “Hey, this isn’t your sandwich; you need to go have a seat.” I was confused because I hadn’t ordered that sandwich; I knew my Philly cheesesteak was being made by another employee.
I politely explained that I was just talking with my friend and asked her not to speak to me like that, as it felt disrespectful. A few minutes later, I requested to speak with the manager to address the employee's rude behavior. I mentioned that the employee treated me like a child while not addressing another customer behind me, who was Caucasian and also talking in the restaurant. I come from a multicultural background and don’t focus on race.
The manager was very combative and refused to listen to my concerns, instead accusing me of making racist remarks. I clarified that I was only pointing out the difference in treatment between myself, a Black man, and the Caucasian customer. I also asked for the district manager’s contact information, but she refused to provide it.
Other customers nearby even apologized to me for the situation. Feeling ignored and disrespected, I decided not to return to this Jersey Mike’s, even though it's in my neighborhood. This experience left a bad taste in my mouth and spoiled the rest of my Christmas Eve. When I started recording she try to tell me she was trying to apologize but didn’t apologize in reality and refused to give me the district manager info . I hope this reach the district manager and have them to review the store recording .
