This place is always trash and they close a hour before the the time posted online that says was updated by the business recently. They really need to close this place down. The staff let they’re friends do whatever they want it seems like and it’s very unprofessional. Terrible terrible terrible location.

I just placed a order at 750 pm and got a call from Alonzo saying they closed at 8 03 pm. Online it says this location closes at 9 pm. I did a online order and was pulling up this is not the way to do bissness.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and the customer in front of me had a gift card that wasn't running. The woman making sandwiches told the cashier that she would pay for it to make sure the guy didn't leave without a sandwich! He ended up having another card that swiped, but she was super kind to stand up and help and she should be recognized. Food was just as good as any other JJ but I commend the employee's for their kindness.

Seems like they're closing early. Tried going by at 7:30pm, chairs were all up on the tables. Called to check, and got no answer. Food's good when you can get it, though the service has been unfriendly the last few times I've been. Really disappointing since this was one of my favorite sub spots prior to and during the pandemic. :(

Second time I’ve had a horrible experience at this specific location. Try to hire some people that don’t clearly hate their lives and take it out on customers—because this is the most rude bunch of people I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. This time, they locked the doors at least 13 minutes before closing and the lady at the counter seemed to think being rude and motioning at me to get lost from the counter was the best response. I used to love JJ, but an organization that employs these types of people is not one I trust to prepare food anymore.

Please do not eat here this place is very nasty . Me and my kids came here for lunch and while going to the bathroom we seen 2 huge rats ! The food is never fresh I’ve seen the slice they use to cut the tomatoes & it’s very caked up and nasty ! The will take the food off of one sandwich and use the same vegetables for a different one even when you say you don’t eat tomatoes ! The tall man with dreads and messed up teeth breath was stink when taking my order ? as USUAL this is my 4th time coming here . And I’m over dissatisfied ! They have rats and roaches crawling up the bathroom wall ! I wouldn’t be supprised if someone found a bug in the food ! Do not eat here kindly go to 17th st?

Every time there is issue with my order at this location. Completely wrong order mixed up, given just bread with lettuce and mayo once, or they just are out of bread completely but still allow orders to be placed.

As an opportunity for improvement here, is there a way the "system" can be updated? It's consistently down on the weekends and the store only accepts cash. I'm writing because this is the second Saturday in a row I've been turned away for not having cash. This is becoming a consistent occurrence.I appreciate the convenience of this place and the sandwiches are solid. I try to swing by on the weekends if I want something quick and appetizing. My feedback would be to ensure payment is as convenient as the location.

I find staff here quite rude and unwelcoming. It’s common to find them on personal phone calls and inattentive to guests’ needs.
I reported a staff member for inappropriate and aggressive behavior to JJ corporate and learned that the location is franchised. Local management never responded to my concerns.
Very convenient location but I will not return. I’ll patronize other locally operated JJs that provide a better, more consistent service experience.
