We have been to Joey Ds many times . The food is consistently good. The service is usually excellent . Not this time Our server was just not engaged . Despite very clear guidance, he didn't get the order right. He didn't refill our water ask if we wanted another round of drinks . He didn't ask how our food was ,didn't clear our table when we were done or ask if we wanted desert. It put a negative feel on our experience.

This was our first time here. We were seated right away at a beautiful table by the window. Our server was great and gave us the low down on the current specials and favorites. We tried the shrimp, crab claws, and croissants and not a one was disappointing! Hubby had an amazing steak, I had the Chilean Seabass special (perfection) and kids the cheeseburger and chicken tenders. The atmosphere was really pretty with the open floor and surrounding windows. Loved getting peek into the kitchen as well. Reasonably priced for the level of food. We will definitely be back to try more delicious food & cocktails!

Joey D's combines an ups scale dining experience with a down to earth casual feel. The food was outstanding, My wife and I both got steaks and they were done to perfection. The salads were fresh and potatoes were cooked with the skins being the ideal crispness. Our server Amancho was extremely attentive and helpful. He kept our glasses full, poured the wine and packed the leftovers for us. In general this place was ideal for a nice dinner with a loved one or as a place to go with a group. Loved it

Visited this restaurant while in Atlanta. Let me start by saying the service was phenomenal. Our waitress Donjernique, was very attentive, helpful and the moment a plate was clear, she was removing it from the table. This was a busy night, it was a Tuesday but felt more like a Saturday because this place was packed. I only remember seeing two empty tables. However, the servers were on their A game. I had the New Orleans spicy shrimp, slightly overcooked but still good. The steak was seasoned & cooked to perfection. If you haven’t been make sure to check this place out. The alcohol selection is quite extensive for those of you that drink.

We went early in the afternoon with reservations made on Open Table. We made reservations shortly before we left, and tables were available.
We were seated immediately by friendly staff. The ambiance is awesome with large windows and lots of great sunlight. Parking was plentiful and easy.
Our service was excellent as our server was herself a chef and could give counsel on menu items. For appetizer, we had she crab soup, salads, and oysters. The crab soup had a thicker texture than expected, however, overall, it was very good. The steak arrived slightly overcooked required a second attempt, which was better.

The filet, trout, reuben, she crab soup and salads were delicious. But the height of our evening was our very adept and amiable server, David. His approach to our table was timed perfectly, when conversation lulled. Our 6 meals arrived exactly as ordered. I'll definitely be back!
