I stopped by Johnny Rockets recently and was very disappointed in the lack of customer service. When I asked what a BOCA Burger was, the short-order cook dismissed my question with, “It’s a black bean burger, it says it.” When I tried to clarify where that was mentioned or get more information on nutrition, the cashier couldn’t provide any insight either.
The interaction made it clear that the staff hasn’t received proper training in customer care. While this is a quick-stop, fast-food style restaurant, basic courtesy and product knowledge should be expected. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism from the young employees behind the counter makes the experience unappealing and not worth a return visit.
I welcome a conversation with upper manage to discuss how they can improve.

This place is right next to the AMC theater at Phipps. It has a cool old-school vibe and serves up classic burgers that hit the spot. It feels like you’re hanging out in a restaurant straight out of an Archie’s comic!

Johnny Rockets is always a go-to for that nostalgic diner vibe and consistently tasty food! Whether you’re grabbing a to-go order or dining in, the service is always friendly and welcoming. Pro tip: get the bacon-cheddar cheese fries with ranch — they’re absolutely crave-worthy!
It’s also one of the only places open before the rest of the mall opens, so it’s perfect for an early bite or quick fuel before shopping. Classic, delicious, and dependable every time.

I took my daughter to the AMC theater. Afterwards we went to Johnny Rockets. I ordered fries and tenders, vegan shake. The tenders were saturated in old oil, fries as well. My daughter's milkshake consisted of 90 percent whipped cream and only 10 percent icecream. Also they speak in their own language spanish. I wasted my money in the garbage. When I got home I threw my food in the garbage.

Staff members were extremely disrespectful to my friend and accused him of being someone that he is not. In this assumption they refused to service him after waiting 15 minutes and serviced others instead. In that moment he began to display his frustrations as he was being ignored. Instead of managing the situation appropriately the manager was rude and condescending to my friend while slamming doors and waving him off in a dismissive manner. They proceeded to express that “he always has a problem with his food, so we couldn’t help him”. As someone that works in customer service, it is imperative to remain professional and to service the client to the best of their ability. When confronted by others they took no accountability of their actions and lied about their role in the situation, which was caught on film, and instead deflected the issue on my friend for his conduct AFTER the situation escalated. Although my friend could have handled the situation better his frustrations are valid as he has never had an issue before although being accused of being a troublesome client. Let this be a learning lesson on how not to treat people based on a preconceived notion that you have towards them. I personally have never eaten at this establishment and have no desire to after this interaction and their attempt to justify, but I know several people that do and I will be sure to encourage them to lead with caution as they make LOOK like someone else and be treated in such regard. The staff quickly informed us that the owner knows about the situation and I hope the owner is well-versed in customer service and can equip their team with the proper tools to avoid other issues like this. As I expressed to the women at the establishment and the young man that they called for backup over at Beto’s Tacos, we all work in customer service and although we may have bad days we should lead with grace and respect for others no matter who they are and how they are ASSUMED to be. This situation reflects the reason that this locations has such terrible reviews and the owner’s lackluster responses. It is very unfortunate! I personally feel like the mall can use this space for another business that provides the proper service to the people in and around the surround area.

The food was really hot and fresh and it tasted really great!!!!!!! My best friend, Phillip Miller, and I will definitely be coming back!!!!!!!
We got two malts. The malts were literally…warm. Watched them blended with the mixer, but they tasted like fluffy milk. Gross

December 18/2024 I was there at 5:20pm the employees were three people and they were only talking to each other about personal things and giving little attention to the customer, and the girl at the checkout with a very bad attitude! They made me want to leave and never come back! The customer service is terrible.

I’ve had plenty of good experiences here, however, on 8/4/2024, I got a bad case of food poisoning/aches from a meal here. As such, I would not recommend this place until they improve their health standards.
