Ordered pepper jack boudin balls. Very disappointed in size, quantity of 4 for $9. Shrimp po boy, very salty. Everyone complained how salty the shrimp was. Took over an hour to get a Togo order. Fries were good. Wouldn't go back though

I’ve gone 3 times to the boulevard location 1at rime food was good!! Honestly one of the best restaurant gumbos I’ve had awesome beignets too!! However my second two visits I can’t seem to find the open 7pm Thursday google says open and lights out door closed . So at this point what are the actual operating hours. Is it staff?? I’m a chef and bartender with management experience who could use a job!

9/17 7:20pm. Closed. Google states they’re open. However they aren’t. Bad business.

First of all this place needs more workers
We waited a hour and we was the only ones there …..
Pluse the food was not good
The gumbo was a bowl of rice with two shrimp and a splash of gumbo that taste like grease rice
Crawfish pie was ok just no flavor
The shrimp Poboy bread was soft but barely any shrimp and it was dry
Fry’s were greasy cold and hard and barely a hand full we were allso served expired condiments yes expired
The snow balls were dry no flavor
We paid $60
We are from New Orleans so this was a horrible experience for us ……

The first time I gave it a try I waited 30 mins for Gumbo and Boudin balls. Somehow they had lost my order ticket or something so I got a refund because I couldn’t wait anymore. Here it is two months later, I try them again. I am disappointed. I get all the way back home and my gumbo is mostly just rice and the little I tried was not good at all which I was shocked because the po boy and the boudin balls were okay. I tried calling but couldn’t get anyone on the phone. Money down the drain.

Definitely supposed to be open and wasn't. Won't be back.

I have supported this business over the past couple years. As any restaurant, there have been some situations that were addressed and moving forward would hopefully improve. However, the recent customer service by the owner, Darren Williams, has really put a black cloud on this establishment.
I placed an online order, as recommended by the establishment, on June 17, 2025 during business hours. My account was immediately drafted for my order. At no point was anything mentioned on the website nor restaurant, when I arrived, that the business was closed or hours had changed. But to my suprise, the restaurant was closed. I did call and leave a message requesting a refund for my order and NEVER got a return call. Over the next couple days I called several times to try and reach someone and couldn't. I finally drove to the restaurant, 371 Boulevard SE, Atlanta location on June 22, 2025 and they were open, I spoke to a worker, explained what had happen and she directed me to the owner. I cakked and spoke with the owner. He asked for me to send him the receipt, proof of payment and he would refund my payment as soon as he stopped driving.
Darren Williams, owner, responded to my text on the next day, confirming that he'd take care of it. Well, it never happened. I have called, left vmails and texted Darren several times and he has not returned any communication nor refunded my order as he said he would. This is a shame that this has come to this, but this matter will, seemingly, have to be escalated to get resolved.
I HIGHLY recommend to everyone to ONLY patronize this business by placing your order on-site. However, because of this matter, they have lost a faithful customer and have left me no other choice of resolving this matter by escalating this legally.
