This place has fallen off a lot since it used to be Kaleidoscope. Missing bathroom ceiling tiles. Missing light switch covers. Dark. Mediocre service. Not a place I’d come back to.

Meh. My husband and I came here on a late Sunday afternoon for drinks and snacks.

We sat at the bar and ordered the loaded nachos and wings. I’d say the nachos were 6/10 and the chicken wings were acceptable.

I honestly think I’d give this place a better rating if it were advertised more as a sports bar than a steakhouse. I could hear the football playing on the tvs while out on the sidewalk and it’s the first impression you get when walking in and seeing a bar with multiple tvs. It was a mismatch of labeling, presentation, and atmosphere. I don’t want to go back unless I have an urge to go to a bar on Dresden past midnight.

Porterhouse has some really fun vibes. We enjoyed the neighborhood feel the establishment has maintained.. ..And, while a DJ is great, the DJ vibes seemed really prescribed ...I attempted to make a request and was told there is a plan in place (aka no requests) ...so the DJ is is there to input a playlist and not actually DJ?.,I would advocate for this bar to get a true DJ .....I came back to the location because of the playlist before the DJ

Arrived on a Saturday evening and just a few people around. Was ushered to an outdoor table at our request and the staff greeted us quickly and pleasantly. The waitress brought our drinks quickly and the food was served promptly but the Caesar salad I ordered was made with boiled tasteless chicken and the salad was overall very boring. My dinner date liked her meal but she didn’t like the sight of two cockroaches circling around our table on the concrete patio. Can’t recommend eating here and won’t be back. The ATL has too many other choices that don’t serve drab and boring salads.

I hadn't tried Porterhouse yet but live very close, but my mom and I tried to go in for dinner last night to give it a shot. We were immediately seated by the hostess- and there was only 1 other table of people in the restaurant and a few people at the bar. We sat there for 30 MINUTES waiting for someone, anyone to come talk to us, take a drink order, etc. Finally at the 30 min mark we just got up and walked out because despite there only being one other table no one came over to talk to us at any point. We will not be going back. So disappointing because the location is great and my family loved Kaleidoscope.

Wings were way overcooked and chewy. All of the tv's were offline at a time. Music was off for an hour. I was told to be patient by the sarcastic bartender. Glad I did not get dinner. Won't be back.

Used to be Kaleidoscope. Has the same atmosphere with a different menu. There was live music on Thursday evening. The service and steaks were good. There wasn’t a lot of people in there for a Thursday evening. Hopefully the activity will pick up.

Absolutely loved my first visit! I couldn't recommend it more. The food was great with a menu that had a lot of flavor. Service was as good as you could ask for. I'll be back for sure!

I am a volunteer for LifeLine at the DeKalb County Animal Shelter and I took Steve out as a Dog-For-The-Day and we visited Porterhouse Grill where we sat out on the patio and watched some football. The staff were all very friendly and Steve had a great time - thank you for allowing us to hangout with you for the afternoon!

The steaks are incredible! Very tasty pizza, on a crispy thin crust 🤤
The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is pleasant.
On Thursdays a beautiful singer sings)

5 stars for our amazing server Tyler! Really should be 4 since there was no hostess on a Saturday night. We had eggrolls, salmon with mash and Brussels along with an old fashioned and a crafted kiwi drink that was refreshing and delicious. Food came out fast. Our server Tyler was the best we had in a long time, polite and patient. Thanks Tyler!
