We were in town visiting one night for a concert at the Tabernacle. We were hungry after, literally just googled a spot for pizza. At first we could not find the place, we called no answer. We walked around & boom found it in the cut!! Kat’s Cafe is a whole vibe!! Definitely did not expect to walk into an open mic night & then it was all black folks… yessss!! When we got inside I understand why they didn’t answer the phone.. The host was everything she & the live band had the entire place rocking!! A few lovelies got on the mic.. Blue & Madison were amazing! Everyone who sang was so courageous & welcoming. We met a few new people from Arkansas & DC.. whenever we visit ATL we always meet people from around the world so that was cool. The food was good & affordable. But again.. it was the energy for me. I was super happy that we found this little gem. I have already recommended this spot to my people in the A & We definitely will be back!!

The live music is great here. The performers are awesome and they know how to reach an audience. The service however, is pretty disappointing. I understand things get busy. The first time I went, a couple weeks ago on open mic Thursday, they gave me wine in a dirty glass and when I noticed, it took a while to politely get their attention to ask for a clean one. I decided to give this place another try this past Saturday. Again they gave me a dirty wine glass and it took a while to get their attention. It’s a shame because the music is great but I really don’t want to pay to get food poisoning!

This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever paid for. Kats cafe went so far as to tell us that they were not participating in the event even after showing them the brochure. I want a refund! Total waste of money and time. (Not a review for any of the drinks or food at Kats we did not get served anything)
Came here to listen to the band. I wanted to make a reservation for a table but you have to call to do so. It would be easier if this cluld be done online since they dont seem to be very responsive to phone or email. When I arrived, I enjoyed the band but there was alot of confusion amongst the staff about when they close. They ended up closing when the band went off at midnight but that conflicts with hours posted online.
