I used this company 2 times in the past and paid around $200. For customs cakes for my step daughter’s birthday. Both times I had a success with this company. I recently just used this same company for a custom cake for my husband 50th birthday… I paid $355 for the cake. The cake was not creative and look as if it was rushed. I specifically asked for black and gold to match the theme of the party(I also said red can be added in the cake lightly). The theme of the cake was supposed to represent Brooklyn New York(Marci projects) and also his favorite HipHop artistes (Wutang, MOB, Biggie). The creativeness definitely wasn’t worth $355. The flavors were good….. The photos wasn’t edible. I’m disappointed because I’m big on cakes and don’t mind spending top dollar on them but this was unacceptable. I will no longer be using this company. God Bless!

I had this company make a custom birthday cake for my daughters birthday. I sent over a photos of what i wanted it to look like nd was told it would resemble what the photo looks like. When i received the cake the only thing that resembled the cake was a decoration that they used. Also i wanted layers of custard and strawberries inside the cake. When i cut into the cake there was hardly any custard and hardly any strawberries. I paid almost 200.00 for a 7" cake, defiantly not worth it! I wouldn't use this company if you're looking for a custom birthday cake, I would use Alpine Bakery.

I had a custom order for a funeral repass of a domino cake. It not only looked just like we discussed but it tasted delicious. The guests continually expressed that the cake was so moist. Kimberly even met me for the delivery, was on time, and very professional. I would definitely recommend and use Kimberly Sweet Shoppe in the future. The cake was a hit!!!

Simply, I did not get what I ordered. I ordered a cake, cupcakes and cookies for my baby’s birthday party and during the ordering I asked Kimberly to have the cupcakes match the cake and cookies designed and was charged an extra fee but instead of what I asked for, the theme was printed on the cupcakes which I don’t like and made clear when ordering. I was really upset because I didn’t get any confirmation after paying, confirmation of delivery and with paying almost 300$ I thought I would see the desserts before the party. Although that upset me, the cake and cookies were beautiful and although the cupcakes didn’t look the way I wanted them too, everything tasted good.

They tasted homemade, and the amount of icing was really nice, not overdone.Everything leading up to the party is where Kimberly really shined, though. I had only a rough idea of what we wanted when I submitted an online inquiry. Kimberly reached out, got a good understanding of what we were looking for, and she basically took it from there, leaving me one less thing to worry about. Even payment was easy - all online. Perfectly themed cupcakes showed up on my doorstep the morning of the party, right on time. She even texted to let me know she was on the way. The whole process was seamless and easy, which was exactly what we needed!
