My man knows how to make a strong drink 🙂‍↕️ I love this place and it’s the one place I stop by every time I’m at ponce. The popsicles are super good, and I love their drinks!!

It’s not too bad but still too icy instead of being smooth for creamsicle

King of Pops is the kind of stop that feels like a little burst of happiness on a stick. Tucked inside Ponce City Market, it’s colorful, playful, and always smells faintly of sugar and sunshine—whether or not the Atlanta weather agrees.

The pops themselves are fresh and fun—flavors change often, but they always strike a good balance between inventive and nostalgic. Some days it’s creamy and indulgent, other days it’s bright and fruity, but either way, it hits the spot.

Prices are a bit steep for a popsicle, but you’re paying for the vibe too—local, small-batch, and served with a smile. It’s a sweet little treat that feels right at home in the heart of PCM.

Love this business. All their locations and the pop-ups here and around my neighborhood (Inman Park) are always on point and excellent with service and products.
💯 💯 💯 This location is nice in the market, but I appreciate all their pop-ups so I can walk a couple blocks to one so often.

I visited King of Pops at Ponce City Market earlier today.

I wanted something sweet to cool off after spending time on the roof with my family. When we came downstair, we saw the shop.

We walked up and were taken aback when the server didn’t greet us. Someone came to visit the area and she sat there and talked to him.

The name of the guy that helped was Phil and he was more interested in his conversation and acted like we were nuisances.

He just looked at us before each of us asked for what we wanted.

He spoke with an attitude and aggressively . He shoved the popsicles in our hands.

We were trying to clarify that we wanted 1 slushy and the sign said strawberry. He didn’t tell us that it was incorrect and just gave is the watermelon one. He got further agitated when we said we didn’t want alcohol in.

He seemed to grow more agitated but there was no line at the time.

When it came time to pay. He turned the machine and snatched it back towards him when we tapped the card.

We chose not to tip because of the experience which irritated him more. His sarcastic and passive aggressive response was “hAVe a BLeSsed daY”

He then enthusiastically turned to the people behind us to say “Hi! How are you?” in a overly enthusiastic way.

We did not receive that service.

After walking away, I decided I wanted to get the number so went right back. He tried to pretend like he didn’t see me.

I had a to get his attention but I was clearly standing next to the front counter.

I asked him for the corporate number and he lied and said there wasn’t one. He lied and said there wasn’t. I asked for an attitude and with an attitude he said “PHIL!”

And gave another passive aggressive comment

We don’t understand why he treated is different

Great staff super warm and welcoming. Got the berry corny popsicle - refreshing as expected, more berry than corn-y. They have a non alcoholic slushy and "poptails": a popsicle and a cocktail combo.
