I visited based on the positive reviews but was disappointed. I ordered the Spicy Korean Chicken, and it was a letdown. The chicken was over-grilled, the portion was tiny, and the sauce lacked flavor. Definitely not worth it.

I was excited to try Kwans Deli, but the food is just meh to not good. I went here twice in the same week, trying the Cuban sandwich on the first visit and the spicy Korean chicken meal during the second visit.

The Cuban was just ok. At first, the bread was very hard to even bite through and somehow smashed more than I thought was possible. Although the bread was hard, there was a strange amount of liquid continuously dripping from the sandwich, which was just weird and gross. By the time I got to the second half of the sandwich, the bottom bread was a soggy mess, and the top still shattered with each bite. The sandwich was also oddly sweet, which was off-putting. I would not order it again. The only good thing was the side of fries that came with it. The fries were perfectly seasoned and fried. They were still crispy when I got to my destination 15 or so minutes after picking up my food.

The spicy Korean chicken was a huge disappointment. It consisted of plain chunks of white meat slathered with some sort of gojichung sauce. The chicken itself was dry and flavorless if not for the sauce. It came with a noodle salad that was also flavorless, except for some sprigs of cilantro, which was a very unpleasant surprise for someone who can't stand cilantro. Other sides included a pickled onion chunks/jalapeño combo that was pretty much inedible and white rice. The plain rice was the best part of that meal.

As a side, we also ordered beef potstickers, which were surprisingly good. Unfortunately, they came with a side of coleslaw, which was a very odd combination. The coleslaw was incredibly sweet and not good either.

Overall, the food here is not great or even good, and the prices are high - most likely because of their location next to Centennial Park and all the attractions. I would definitely not recommend the food here, and don't plan on eating here ever again if I can help it.

This is not bibimbap, it is cold rice, over-seasoning

Two stars for the friendly lady at the counter and the tasty veggie tempura variety. Onion, shrimp, squash, zucchini, great light fry and tasty

Otherwise I ordered spicy chicken bento combo. The price in the menu on display was $15.99 but I was charged $21?

The chicken was hard. Unable to cut with plastic knife and like it had been repeatedly cooked then cooked some more. Then cooked again. You get the idea. Sauce was ok nothing great. Miso soup ok, a little too salty.
Four pieces of California roll good and generous with the ginger and wasabi but one of them tasted moldy.

Disappointed and expecting more based on other reviews. I won’t go back but if I did I’d try a different meat altogether.

Chicken gyro was dry (they should provide a side of sauce in addition to the small portion slathered on) but much improved by dressing from the pasta salad.

The kids menu was pulled cause workers come in and order. But instead of pulling the menu, stop offering to adults.

We ordered turkey sandwich but got ham. (The lady taking orders was struggling to understand orders?)

Crazy large range of options- korean, gyros, sandwiches. Kimchi, pasta salad, sandwiches were great.

Vegetarian options: Lots of meat. Menu not labeled. Sandwiches came with mustard and mayo not labeled.

Parking: Small amount of paid street parking out front.

Kid-friendliness: Mgr is killing the kids menu cause too many adults ordering it.

Bibimbap was mediocre, not much flavor and not very authentic.

I ordered pickup from here last month when I was in town. There was a snowstorm so most places were shut down but this place accepted my order and gave me a time for pickup so I showed up at the allotted time and found the doors closed for business.

I don't really care that the business was shut down that night, but what I don't appreciate is that they didn't issue a refund and they denied my dispute with the credit card company. Keep in mind that I never received any food.

Do better

Ordered today and I could just tell my food (wings) weren’t fresh as if just sitting.

Great location for people visiting aquarium, Coke museum and nearby business. Quick and easy dinner. Food and service were mediocre for the price charged.

The veggie dumplings were fantastic, super crunchy and had a wonderfully spiced sauce on the side. The veggie bibimbap was lacking some flavour and the tofu was not to my personal liking as it was soft and not flavoured

Food was okay. They put too much spicy sauce on top of my order.

You get close to authentic Korean dishes here and they taste good. Our service experience though wasn't great. We ordered 2 dishes but the 2nd dish came out 30 minutes later. Then one of the workers at the cash register wasn't very apologetic with her response when asked about the delay. Don't eat here if you're pressed for time.

I was taking a break and found this place near where I parked. Great little deli and I tried the Ruben grilled sandwich and chips. It tasted pretty good. Definitely a nice place to eat when downtown.
