la fonda is an atlantan classic. the service here wasnt great when i went it its a little slow. but the chips & salsa are always so addicting. i got the ropa vieja for the first time and it was delicious. my friend got the ensalada pescado but subbed chicken. great casual lunch/dinner place.

Love this place! Excellent food, chicken quesadilla with black beans and yellow rice is superb. The sangria is one of the best around if not the best. Service is usually really good but they were slow so it took a minute to get the check. Finally just went in and paid at counter which is what you have to do anyway when they bring the check. They've got patio seating as well as indoor and with the nine weather I opted to sit outside. Chips are hot a fresh and the salsa is amazing. There are a few locations but this is my favorite. Nothing I don't like except parking when it's busy.Parking: When it's busy it can be difficult to find a place. Today wasn't bad at all and plenty of spaces. Some are parallel so be prepared to use them if the lot is full and you don't have a choice.Kid-friendliness: They've got a kids menu and the atmosphere is fine for children.

The food in La Fonda is really good. Their paella, for the price, plus their mojito chicken and steak sandwich are really good. The service is good and attentive but it depends on who you get. Vidited this restaurant many times and I highly recommend this place.

This has been one of my favorites since the early 90s, but my loyalty has been challenged the last couple of years (please don't blame COVID). The food quality has gone down hill and some times tastes like left-overs and the service is horrible. This review is hard to write but someone needs to know!!!

I really can’t say about the service because I ordered by phone for carry out but there was some delay when picking up, I left it should have been ready since it was ordered via phone. The atmosphere was not impressive not for me.Parking: It’s right next-door to Lafonda on Roswell Road. Parking is very small, narrow and limited. Lunchtime is the worst and early evenings.Kid-friendliness: I’ve seen families in there with their children I guess it’s OK

I've eaten in this restaurant for many years. The food is always been good. But I just had a bad experience and found out that they no longer accept cash after eating my meal. Are we still living in the United States of America. Any business that does not accept our country's currency in my opinion does not deserve the business of hard-working US citizens. I will never eat here again, and hope that others will do the same. I will boycott the businesses that do not accept cash. It is disgusting what's happening in our country and our society with a government trying to create a cashless society. I hope others will join me and not eating at this here.
