I liked La Fonda - it's casual, you can sit outside, the staff are friendly, and the food is decent! We got the paella Del Mar and either the chuletas or bistec a la parilla to split. The meat was a little tough but otherwise everything tasted good. I got the house margarita too and enjoyed it!

The food was excellent. I have the seafood paella. It was the best that I've had in my life. It was so fresh and delightful. The horchata was amazing again, very fresh. I also enjoyed my fish tacos. The chips and salsa were very light and refreshing. Can't say enough good things about this location. The food was incredible. Service was great. The sangria mixed with margarita was amazing. I love this combination! Will definitely be returning when back in town

Some of the best chips and salsa in the city. This place is a staple in Atlanta and has been for so long for a reason. The Margaritas are great. The food is always on point. For a sit-down dinner or lunch with a waiter and all that , it's kind of quick and has a fun social vibe

I visited La Fonda today on a recommendation. I had the Cuban sandwich, black beans & rice. It's a full size sandwich unlike the half sandwich you typically get at a Cuban restaurant. The rice & beans were just ok. They didn't have much flavor or seasoning. I prefer Havana Sandwich Shop on Buford Hwy.

Food excellent. Fish tacos plenty of tasty fish. I just feel that for the price, you pay now, they should pack your left overs , is part of customer service. Is a lot work...you still have to tip

Found this place by accident. My better half had the ropa vieja and I had the paella. Absolutely wonderful food! Service was quick and friendly. Very comfortable cafe and very reasonably priced.

I rarely take the time out to leave positive reviews, but La Fonda is simply too good. There’s no pomp and circumstance here. The restaurant doesn’t try hard to be something it isn’t (like the vast majority of “viral” restaurants in this city).La Fonda is refreshingly unpretentious and undeniably delicious. I keep coming back and I don’t see that stopping any time soon.

Been here enough times to make the case the only thing worth it for a Latino palate is the paella. Everything else is a miss or O.K. Service is constantly behind. The place is on prime location but if you want good food keep going.
