We had a party of seven with a fairly late reservation, and despite the timing, the staff was incredibly accommodating and maintained a high level of professionalism throughout the evening. We were celebrating a friend's birthday, and they truly made the occasion feel special. The food was excellent, and the ambiance created a great overall experience. I also appreciated how communicative and flexible they were while coordinating our reservation ahead of time. I would absolutely return and highly recommend this restaurant for both special occasions and a great dining experience.

What an outstanding experience this was! From the restaurant manager, JD, to our wonderful waiter B (forgot his name but he is from Turkey), to all other staff that were checking on us throughout the evening, we felt very special. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the food and provided wonderful recommendations. This was a birthday celebration I will fondly remember and will definitely be back!

My parents frequent this place fairly often and we are lucky enough to be invited sometimes. It is so good we wanted to take my husbands' father here for his retirement celebration and it was fabulous, as usual. Time and time again, they are consistently perfect. There is not a bad thing on the menu. Everything from their pastas, to their steak, their fish and their wine, it is all perfection.

La Grotta is my favorite Italian restaurant in Atlanta. On this visit, my wife ordered the duck breast, which she very much enjoyed. I ordered my favorite dish on the menu: lumache bolognese. This time, however, the bolognese was not as rich or creamy as usual and rather bland by La Grotta standards. Hopefully it was just an off night for the chef.

The food and bartender were top notch! I really enjoyed myself and being served by Amanda. She was the absolute best and made sure that she showed each guest at the bar some luv and attention. She was very patient and had some great recommendations (all while shaking cocktails - talent) I look forward to my return and can't wait to try some more dishes.

I’ve heard great things about this place, but we were so disappointed. Went for a late Valentines dinner, and the service was spectacular. The wait staff was incredibly attentive and personable; if anything, they make the experience worth the visit. However, the food left so much more to be desired. My husband ordered the salmon, and for some reason, it tasted like gas station-roller hotdogs? I’ve never experienced this phenomena in my life; it was a first. The staff were extremely accommodating in response to our complaints, but I can’t help but wonder how on Earth you make a fish from the sea taste like processed land meat? We tipped well, service was amazing, but what the hell?

Was lucky to get a reservation for New Year's Eve the day before. Been fore and it's been great. Upon sitting down we were informed there was a pre-fixe menu (this should have been stated when making the reservation). We were specifically coming for an entree that was not offered. We inquired about this and was told this menu was it, no substitutions. We ordered lobster ravioli (very fishy tasting couldn't finish it) and Ahi tuna. Both appears to be plated well in advance. Ofre Entrees we ordered the Filet and Dover sole. The filet was very tough and the Dover sole was rubbery. We both should have sent them back but being new years eve we stomached it. Well that was a big mistake because a few hours later I got ill (ate the fish). and was down an entire day after. Upon leaving we noticed several tables had items that were not on the pre-fixe menu. Specifically pasta with the Filet instead of potato as we asked and chicken that was not on the menu and was told absolutely no to when inquiring.
Food and service are exceptional. Fantastic wine list, specials and desserts. One of Atlanta’s finest restaurants with a beautiful patio for warmer weather

First time special occasion far exceeded my expectations, the entire process from making reservation, special request Birthday. Upon arrival immediately seated our servicer was OMAR he was outstanding very personal, had a fantastic sense of humor which only added to our experience. Would not hesitate to return as indicated previously it was first class
