La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant

Very negative experience. I called 3 times each time someone would pick up say nothing and hang up. On the 4th time someone actually took my order and said it would be ready in 12-15 mins (an appetizer). When I got there no one was came to assist me although people were standing around and they were not packed and busy. When someone finally did he looked at the food sitting waiting and said it wasn’t mine. He then went to the back to “check on it” and returned and said it was almost ready. While waiting way past the time given at this point someone from the back brings more food out. I wait for the guy who was manning the to go counter to come check and he’s just standing around. I eventually tap him and was like hey they just brought out more food can you check. He checks, not my food and the goes to the back. A manager comes out with him tells me HE took my order so it’s been addressed etc and then checks the same bags that were there waiting when I came in that the guy initially checked and said wasn’t mine. Turns out it was my food waiting the entire time. So when I ask the manager “so that was my food sitting there this whole time” he quickly tells me oh it just came out it hasn’t been there long and I’m like no it’s been there since I’ve been here waiting that the other guy (who is standing there) said wasn’t here. He very dismissively shrugs and says oh he was just confused. No apology, no professionalism. Rubbed me so wrong I took my time to make this review. 10/24/25.

I have lived in a lot of places. Papasitas in Texas used to be my favorite Mexican restaurant until now. There is no words how great this place is. It is now my favorite, but I live in Nashville, TN. Everything is awesome!

I went here once when they first opened and thought it was terrible. A friend assured me it had improved, but no. Food is terrible. The guacamole stirred together at the table completely lacked lime juice, cilantro or salt. It was bad. The rest of our food was nearly inedible. Not one of us ate more than a quarter. Service is bad. Atmosphere is bad - very loud. No disastrous mismanagement occurred, its just a very lousy spot.

What a terrible place. They sell water down margarita and terrible service. The waitress said I have to order something other than house margarita. What a joke! She also lied to me that she will talk to the bartender which she didn’t.

1st time dining, was invited by a close friend to catch up since she is a regular. Must say the bartenders were awesome. Attentive, fast, and worked very very well together shout out to all for of them Angel, Sai, Angela I believe and one other I don't want to mess name up. Food was great and came out quickly I only got chix tacos with rice and beans but tasted authentic and fresh. Great experience I can see why I got packed later. Lively atmosphere with great service.

Like the thin crisp chips and the lunch special on thick frozen margaritas. Drinks are always very good. Haven't had a bad dish yet and have been to several in the surrounding ATL area. My all time favorite Mexican restaurant.

The food was ok. But the waitress gave 2 napkins upon request for a party of 3.... most likely won't patronize this restaurant again. Tvs and radio were played overly loud on different stations at once. Not a peaceful or welcoming environment.
