Sat at the bar for about 15 minutes before anyone said anything to me at all. No acknowledgment of the wait. Almost no one was there so was honestly embarrassing to have no one seem to wanna serve me anything.

Ended up forgetting what I wanted to order and just left before I caused a scene

No wait for dinner on a Sunday. Yummy drinks, okay tacos, salty beans, $58 for two.

I had the rice and beans bowl with bistec, and no joke, I had three minuscule pieces of the bistec—a total rip-off. The carnitas tacos had good flavor, but they were extremely dry and tough. The frozen margarita was so sweet, I only had 1/4 of it. The waitress was not friendly at all. Overall, it was very mediocre.

It was very difficult to have a convo, very loud. Carnitas tacos were dry but the cacti taco was very good and the sangria was excellent. The sopa pollo was outstanding. Service was 3 different servers and still slow unresponsive.

Finally an authentic style Mexican restaurant that serves good food, good drinks and a welcoming staff. The people watching on Juniper was pretty cool. The only little wrinkle (which is not their fault) is my advice is to simply take an uber. The parking in that area now is crazy-talk. Please give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

To be honest, I found the food and drinks here so far to be quite average. Nothing terrible - nothing to knock your socks off. That is, with one exception: the flan was probably the best I've had in the US. Seriously. Not since Mexico City have I had better flan.

As for the other food, I only had a quesadilla and sangria, so I would give it 3.5-4 stars for now and will wait until I try more food. I will, however, give a shout out to the amazing staff. The bartender, servers, and runners were all fantastic and friendly. That alone would get me to return!
