We were visiting Atlanta for the week and ended up in Lantana. Mitch was fantastic and made an amazing dirty martini. On top of that he gave us the best recommendations for our anniversary dinner. Thank you so much. Mitch is the best :)

The WORST bar experiences I’ve ever had.
The bartenders blatantly ignored us. No acknowledgment, no service... nothing. We finally had to hunt down a server just to place a simple drink order. We ordered six espresso martinis and waited 25 minutes for them to show up. When they did, they weren’t even in martini glasses and they tasted like straight Baileys. No espresso, no effort, no clue what they’re doing.
Two of the drinks had black hairs in them, and there was also hair in one of our water glasses. That is beyond disgusting and completely unacceptable. At that point it felt less like a mistake and more like negligence or worse.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, homeless people inside the bar begging for money, making the place feel even more unmanaged and dirty.
This place is a joke. Zero professionalism, zero cleanliness, zero respect for customers. Never coming back. Don’t waste your money or your time.

Went here last night for drinks with my friends. The drinks were overpriced but good at least. My main issue was the service. The bartender with the locs didn’t even speak to us while we stood at the bar waiting for our turn to order. The only reason we were able to order is because one of my friends spoke to the bartender first. He still said literally nothing, just nodded his head to what we ordered. There were 3 of us and he didn’t even ask if we were separate, just placed down one bill. Assuming we could split the bill, we each placed a card into the check book just for him to finally decide to speak to us and say “only 2 cards max”…… Sure enough after this interaction we see that there’s gratuity on the bill. I’m a server and bartender myself so I never mind tipping. Despite his poor service I still left a little extra tip on top of the gratuity because that’s just how I operate, but his energy was very rude and unwelcoming. Instead of continuing to buy multiple rounds how we planned, we decided to just finish those first drinks and go somewhere else. It doesn’t take much to simply smile and say hello what can I get for you to guests. Especially while we’re paying $25 for single pour martinis.

Lantana has always been my go-to spot, especially because of Wendy. The service is consistently great, the food is always delicious, and the drinks are a perfect 10 out of 10. I’ve been coming here for years, so I was a little disappointed not to see Wendy this time. I actually decided not to stay because, honestly, I’m not familiar with the other staff.
I really hope Wendy is back soon, she even knows my daughter’s favorite drink, a Shirley Temple with extra cherries. You just can’t beat that level of service. Hope to see you soon, Wendy!

The first time I came to Lantana, my experience with Wendy was so unpleasant that I swore I wouldn’t return. When my mom recently invited me here for drinks, I almost declined because of that memory.
But I’m glad I gave this place another chance, because tonight was the complete opposite. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was vibrant, and the service was absolutely five-star.
A huge thank you to Dontrell, Donte, and MJ they completely turned my opinion around. Their energy, kindness, and attentiveness made me feel welcome and reminded me why giving a place a second chance can be worth it.
Because of them, Lantana is back on my list of places I’ll happily return to.

Food was good but expensive. Drinks were outrageously priced and the cocktail list was lackluster. Staff was nice but embarrassingly slow. Dinner for 4 with just drinks and entrees took 2 hours. Why in the world does ear-shattering club music start at 8pm? It felt totally inappropriate while so many people were still trying to eat dinner and unable to converse.
Barista in the morning left the bar unattended for at least ten minutes while I waited to order coffee - why is it her job to run food from the kitchen upstairs?

Service is very good here, however their prices/fees are just outrageous! The food is good, but I don’t think I can keep coming here with their price gouging. Since when do restaurants charge a fee for ice in a drink?! Automatic gratuity, then add tax and it was almost ten dollars added to my bill. For ONE drink. $24 for you to scoop some ice and pour bourbon in a glass. Stop the madness.
Love the atmosphere and vibes. One highlight that I highly recommend and enjoy is the bar on the first level. Windy the bar tender is always so joyful, pleasant and can make anything drink!! She makes the experience 10/10!! Thanks girl!! 😇😇

Came in for a midday cocktail at my favorite place. The Hennessy Sidecars are amazing. The Starling Midtown is the only place where the drinks are amazing along with the staff. The vibe here is always on point. Great Atmosphere Great People. “MitchTime”

The food was great! We dined here 3 times during our stay at The Starling. What made the biggest impact on our experience were the staff. Devonte was a breath of fresh air and made our experience. We chatted with him about how it was our first time visiting and he gave us amazing recommendations. He also made us feel very welcomed. Chef Michelle surprised us with one of her new specials that was probably one of the best meals I've tasted and she was also very kind. Highly recommend!
