“Really great restaurant located at the former Wild Ginger. (Sign outside hasn’t been changed yet.) Same owners as Snackboxe Bistro, now many more Lao and Cambodian dishes. Food is incomparable. Laap (we had pork belly) is incomparable and water spinach excellent. Only downside: w ordered 2 appetizers (calamari and mussels) and asked whether to wait before ordering entrees. Waitress said no, but then they starting bringing entrees to the table before the apps, and the apps weren’t worth the wait. Reasonably priced, great ambiance. Make a reservation, at least on Friday.“

“I came to Hot Cafe twice in one week—that’s how good it was.
First visit: I ordered the chicken pho and wow… the broth alone was amazing, almost giving ramen vibes. I also tried the fried chicken wings and the flavor was on point.
Second visit: My cousin got the red coconut curry tofu and it was absolutely amazing. I had the pineapple chicken fried rice, and once again—the flavor did not disappoint.
The Thai tea was great, though I do wish there were a dairy-free option since it’s made with half-and-half. That said, I don’t even like bananas, but their banana egg roll dessert was scrumptious.
The atmosphere is no-frills, but the customer service is a solid 10/10. Friendly, welcoming, and consistent food quality.
Highly recommend—clearly a new favorite. 🍜🔥“

“They have achieved an extremely high level of cuisine that surpasses nearly every restaurant I have been to in Atlanta. Absolutely sublime. My ears perk up at every hint of a new dish on the menu. My fellow travelers… this is what you want. This is what you need.“
