Every course was unique and fantastic. Wine pairings included a nice variety of traditional and unfamiliar wines that complemented the food. Service was attentive, friendly, and not overbearing.

Lazy Betty in Atlanta offers an exquisite dining experience that stands out as the best Michelin-starred restaurant I’ve visited among the six I’ve tried. The food is beyond description, each dish a delightful surprise. The ambiance is casual yet elegant, with an open kitchen that adds to the experience. The staff are delightful, attentive, and knowledgeable, making it a memorable night out. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for a special evening, Lazy Betty is worth the visit.

Quite unhappy with their reservation policy I booked it and cancelled it in 24 hrs. 48 hrs before the actual reservation time. They calmly canceled and then charged $100/ person on the day of the reservation. They can't fill their tables on a Saturday night? How lame is that? Or they just want to charge as they can? Unlike other restaurants they don't prompt their cancellation fee when you make the reservation on Resy, they just tell you that at the bottom of 3 pages of their T and Cs. You don't deserve my money ever.

Response to below: I made the reservation on Oct 2nd at 10.30 PM and I cancelled on Oct 3rd around 1.30 PM. ~13 hrs. I cancelled because of kids care issue. I fully intended to attend as you can imagine.

Now, your process is not good. Most restaurants on Resy (Ex: Mujo) prompt user that there will be a cancelling fee if you have to cancel x days before. You don't. You include it at the bottom of a 3 page email. When I cancelled on Resy - there was not prompt or email that I will be charged until the day / time of the reservation. May be if I knew I would have tried extra hard to attend.

You cant tell me that you prepared so much 2-3 days ahead of reservation for 2 people that it is worth 200$. You believe you lost somebody trying to make a reservation between Oct 2 10.30 PM to Oct 3rd 1.30 PM?

And yes, you do deserve a no star for hanging up on me when I called to discuss the same.

Imagine giving this place less than 5 stars. It’s just stellar, each dish better than the last. My wife said she preferred it to the French Laundry.

Amazing experience. Worth the star, and I love the new location. Great wine and cocktail menu and pairing, and also a nice mocktail pairing menu.

Our first visit to a Michelin star restaurant. We enjoyed the experience. The food was great. Hard to describe, has to be experienced. The service was beyond what we were expecting. Friendly, warm, genuine. Each server described the dishes with gastronomic gusto and happily answered questions.

They surprised us with a mini cake in celebration of our anniversary. Lots of little extra touches!

Overall a great introduction to fine dining and we look forward to more such meals, as permitted by budgetary constraints ?

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options available. Heavy on the mushrooms but delightful.

It was an amazing experience, the food was very light and tasty and they accommodated my allergies. They also had an amazing mocktail selection. The pairings with the food really did well together to bring out specific flavors in the food. I also felt like the employees cared about the dining experience we were having.

Vegetarian options: They had an entire vegetarian tasting menu.

Parking: There is a parking garage next door, that they validate parking for.

Went for my partner’s birthday and had an exquisite meal, top-notch service, and an all-around wonderful dinner. We just hope we tipped enough in addition to what is included already!

Parking: They validate your parking for 3 hours, any extra time and you pay for that. We paid an extra $4 for 40 minutes, but we wanted to make sure we arrived on time. We walked in early and they sat us immediately, which was a nice surprise.

The food was fine with interesting variety of flavors, how ever , for the price the food is not as exceptional as other restaurants for the same price that I have been too. The $225 tasting menu does not include wagyu beef, truffles, caviar or any other supplements am used to receiving as part of price fixe. Also, they automatically charged 20% service fee , and there’s still a line on the bill for tips.

My date and I sat a the bar for an a la carte treat--the shrimp causa, which was DELICIOUS. Also, beautiful space and friendly, welcoming staff. Thank you Lazy Betty!

The place and atmosphere are okay-ish for a Michelin restaurant.

Will I want to repeat ? No, thank you. Not worth the 400+ per person (no wine pairings may I say & a couple cocktails)

Vibe - It was ok, a mix of modern and urban with a little bit of Greenery around.

Limited concept of personal space during conversations, some extremely nice staff, some seemed a little too judgy. I wouldn’t want my server to breathe all over me for instance. Please.

Food wise, some were good, a bit more mushroom(seems to be a Michelin thing in Atlanta) and sea food than you’d need.
Duck was pretty okay.
The vegetarian entree option is probably better.
The cod, yellow tail(not that thinly sliced as advertised) & the scallops were decent
.
There’s not a lot of palate cleansers, so your drinks/wine/water will have to do the job.

There’s a watermelon palate cleanser at the end of the meal which was good.

Dessert - House main dessert is an epic failure. May be an interesting choice of flavors, but too dry, mismatched textures and not sweet(I’m not even talking icing sweet). It felt like an unbalanced assortment to end the meal.

Have had a lot of other Tasting Menu experiences, and this one is probably at the bottom.

Thank you for the staff who are really gracious.
