Brian, Champ, and Oscar are the absolute dream team. Gracie on the wine took us on a world tour. They made the experience super fun and entertaining.

My wife and I visited Lazy Betty on Sunday night to celebrate Valentine’s Day. As visitors from South Africa, this was our very first time dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and it absolutely blew us away.

In a nutshell, this was quite simply the best culinary experience of our lives. Every single dish was outstanding, and we were amazed by the level of service—we actually counted being attended to by 8 different staff members throughout the night! Everyone was professional, kind, and made us feel so special.

Thank you to the whole team for making our first Michelin experience so magical. If you are considering booking, just do it!

Apparently Lazy Betty’s was closed on Feb 10, 2026. Though there was nothing on their social media to this effect. I even sent an email - to which no one ever responded. I showed up anyway as I was in town for work and intended to sit in the no reservations required lounge. There wasn’t even a sign. The security guard in the lobby informed me they’d changed their schedule due to Valentines Day. I don’t know how a restaurant has a Michelin star with such poor customer service.

The valentine dinner was a disappointment. The waiting time between courses was 14 to 25 minutes. The ravioli course was cold as well as the main course, the duck. I poured my own water a couple of times because nobody was around. First Michelin star restaurant I've been in the US or Europe in which the service was suboptimal and some of the food cold. Out of the other courses 3 were delicious and 2 average . Definitely overpriced for the service . The other 3 times I've been there at their old location were outstanding

We had an absolutely wonderful Valentine's Day dinner. The tasting menu was perfectly curated and out of this world flavor wise! Me and my fiancé had such a fantastic time and our servers were wonderful and went above and beyond!

Lazy Betty always delivers with superb food and creative dishes. Everything they served us was outstanding this evening but service could have been better. For such a high end place one would expect superb service, that is still an area of improvement for this otherwise great restaurant.

In August of 2025, my wife and I had a 10-course tasting at Lazy Betty, and it was fantastic. At $285 per person, I thought it represented good value, and I was excited to get back. When we came back in Septemeber we had an 8-course tasting for the same price, but several of the best courses from August were excluded. I was a bit disappointed, but I still firmly believed in the talent of this team. I figured that a special tasting menu for $350 on February 13 would be worth trying out, but I left feeling like a total fool. For that price, we were put at an awkward table in an uninspired and noisy back room. The service was chaotic, and the pacing was terrible. I was itching to leave half way thru. But the real low point was the food. We only got 6 courses for $350, and they were totally uninspired (both in flavor, execution and presentation). The team at Lazy Betty is clearly capable of doing great things, but it appears, as best I can tell, that they chose not to in order to maximize profits on Valentine's Day weekend.

The food is the star (as it should be) at Lazy Betty, but it's a star that stands by itself on a sparse stage. The ambiance is meh. The music is gawd awful. I mean, remarkably awful. And the wait staff, though kind enough seems like a hodgepodge of mismatched folks. It was hard to tell who worked there and who was just kind of hanging out— there doesn't seem to be any uniform, or dress code, for that matter. The young guy who delivered each coarse seemed to be nervously rattling-off the ingredients before he forgot them. I felt anxious on his behalf, rather than enraptured by his descriptions. For a thousand dollars for a dinner for two (without the wine pairing!), I expected better. As a fan of The Bear and a patron of many Michelin restaurants across the globe, I was left wondering how they earned their star. Certainly the food was beautiful and delicious, but fine dining is a whole sensory experience, and this restaurant didn't deliver.

Exceptional. Superb. Stunning atmosphere. Wonderful in every way. Hayden and the wait staff were the very essence of perfection. Definitely deserving of their Michelin starred rating. Thank you all for a memorable evening.

Of the Michelin starred restaurants in Atlanta this is my favorite. The ambiance is elegant yet not pretentious as is the menu. The service is impeccable and the wine pairing is a must. Listen to the service staff and take their recommendations, they are not trying to up-sale you, they are genuinely offering an even better experience. Extremely impressed with this restaurant. We've been to 50+ Michelin starred restaurants worldwide and this one not only holds its own with multi starred restaurants but eclipses many.

The food and service were exceptional from start to finish. Each of the eight courses was superb—thoughtfully executed, beautifully presented, and truly delicious—though the overall experience does come at a premium. The wine selection is outstanding and offers excellent options for those looking to splurge. The ambiance was quiet and intimate, likely influenced by our midweek visit, which added to the exclusivity of the experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion; the impeccable service and exquisite cuisine will make you feel nothing short of royalty.

Food, service and overall experience definitely worthy of a Michelin star. Well done. We'll be back!

Lazy Betty offers an intimate, refined, and welcoming dining experience with very attentive service. The tasting menu is creative, beautifully presented, and packed with bold, balanced flavors using top-tier ingredients. Wine pairings are excellent, pacing is perfect, and the overall experience feels world-class and memorable. Easily one of Atlanta’s best restaurants. Thank you for the special anniversary treats LB crew!
