Food over salted. Sauces excessively sweet. Americanized Vietnamese food without doubt Valet charges are $20 + tip.

A Phenomenal Birthday Celebration at Le Colonial Le Colonial provided a phenomenal setting for my wife's birthday celebration last night. The ambiance, with its elegant colonial-era decor and lush greenery, immediately set a luxurious and intimate tone. The food, a masterclass in French-Vietnamese fusion, was truly amazing. We highly recommend the perfectly crisp Cha Gio (Imperial Rolls) and the intensely flavorful Bo Luc Lac (Shaking Beef). Every dish, including the flaky Ca Song Nuong (Grilled Branzino), was executed flawlessly. The staff even made a discreet and lovely presentation for the birthday dessert. The staff's professional grace and attention to detail were outstanding, ensuring our celebration felt seamless and truly catered to. Le Colonial consistently delivers a five-star culinary experience. It is the perfect choice for a memorable night out—we can't wait to return! Highly recommended.

One of my favorite places to go to - great ambiance, food is delicious, staff is very friendly and helpful. I like the back bar area as well; very cozy and classy.

The food was amazing, as always! Although our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable, the wait staff, kitchen and maybe her table load did not provide the service we would expect. It took a long time to get water and initial acknowledgement to the table after we were seated, and a long time between ordering appetizers and ordering our main meal. We also didn't get our sides delivered with our main meal and had to hunt someone down to advise them as our waitress was unaware and didn't check on things until well after the mains were delivered. When they did deliver them, they delivered the wrong side and by the time we got them we were almost done with eating our main meal. We were a party of 6 and unfortunately this isn't the first time I've experienced this type of service when I've gone here. We spent over $620(with only 4 alcoholic drinks) and expect much better service. For the type of food they are serving, there is clearly a lot of profit margin and you would hope they are making it worthwhile by the type of service they provide. Unfortunately this wasn't so.

I went to Le Colonial to celebrate my 18th wedding anniversary with a reservation made in advance, when we got there they acted like they weren't expecting us. After the maitre d went to set up the table the hostess found us on their system and dryly said “Happy Anniversary “. The place was almost empty since it was a lunch. When the food came out it looked and tasted like very cheap Mexican food, there was barely any protein in the plates. To top it all off my wife's food had hair in it! I called the maitre d to complain and he asked for the hair as if to check that it was in fact hair... They offered to bring a new dish out but my wife refused, we all stopped eating then and asked for the check, when it came they were still charging us for the hairy dish, I had to complain again to get it taken off the bill. If you want to get expensive and extremely mediocre food then go to Le Colonial.

Went here for a special date night. Loved the ambience, the food 10/10 , and the service was great . A little pricey but great for the occasion😊

We ate on the patio, everything was as it should be. Everyone enjoyed all the appetizers, soups, entrées, and dessert. our waiter was very caring and attentive.

I came here to celebrate my birthday, and the restaurant cut my cake without asking, charged hidden fees, and completely ruined the experience.

I brought my own cake and was told there would be a $5 cutting fee. I said I could cut it myself, but they insisted I’d be charged regardless. Then, without my permission, they went ahead and sliced the cake themselves, even after I told them it was for photos. No apology, no explanation.

When the bill came, the $5 fee magically turned into $5 per person, and we were charged $20 for water (one sparkling, one still) without clear notice.

Unprofessional, misleading, and deeply disappointing

Arrived at 8:30pm on a Tuesday Night and it was crowded! I made the mistake of booking the reservation outside but the waiter was decent enough to get us a booth inside. The new waitress was nice but just ok. Maybe since we were the last table of the night. Food was great tho. We tried a few things. I wouldn't say its a Great date night place because its pretty tight quarters with people everywhere but still a nice cool restaurant with great food. Although we didnt like the chocolate cake dessert lol. Will a different one next time.

Great creme brûlée. The salmon has this very interesting creaminess to it that it almost melts in your mouth — probably the best experience of me having salmon thus far (I don’t usually like it). Green beans 👍, pork ribs: delicious, shrimp rolls 👍, shrimp ceviche: 👍👍. Everything is good!

The Hanoi coffee espresso martini remix is really good too!

Highly recommended! Good place to celebrate something, like a birthday or anniversary. You wont regret it!

Le Colonial in the Buckhead area is truly one of my mom’s and my favorite restaurants! We come here often for lunch, dinner, and special occasions, and it’s always a wonderful experience. We had lunch here today and everything was exceptionally good as always.
Our waiter, Dylan, was amazing — super friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations. The service was fast, the food came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor, and the team always goes above and beyond to accommodate us.
It was our first time trying their lunch menu, and we loved it! My mom had her favorite salmon, which was cooked perfectly, and we also tried the pork and chicken roll, which was delicious. The shrimp stir-fry, fried rice, and lychee martinis are always 10/10.
The ambiance is beautiful — fresh flowers on the tables, elegant décor inside and out, and an overall peaceful atmosphere that makes dining here feel special every time. They seated us quickly even without a reservation, and everything from start to finish was perfect.
Le Colonial in Buckhead is consistently one of the best dining experiences you can have in Atlanta.

Beware of the shrimp stir fry -it was so spicy I couldn't eat half of it. Our server made condescending faces because we didn't want to order appetizers, more wine, and dessert- spoiled experience.
