First, we loved Fry's previous restaurant in this location. And miss it. it would have been great if he had kept it and added LS. But the Sparrow is excellent. Easy to park, enthusiastic front of house folks greet you, Epiphany was the best server ever, the food is top notch and it's a lively and fun place. I could live on wine and the bread service alone. When they first opened the butter was like a massive iceberg afloat in a pool of olive oil. They have scaled back...
Love the vibe! Bread service at no charge is unheard of these days so that really stands out. The onion soup is to die for and could be shared if you want enough appetite to be able to eat your entree. Minus one star on Food category because the “dripping potatoes” side was inedible. They're bland, boiled? and literally just dripping in animal fat and oil.
It was my first time there and I went on the recommendation of a friend. It was one of the most delightful dining experiences I've had in a long time. I would grade it A+++, 100+%, excellante'
