Great location and beautiful hotel, but the food and dining experience was not good. It took over a half hour for our first drinks to come. Water not refilled and additional drink orders not offered for the remainder of the meal. Server disappeared. We had to get up and go to the bar for drinks. Our entrees were brought out while we were still eating our soup and salads. The broccolini and rice was under cooked and gnocchi potatoes were overcooked and inedible. Very underwhelmed, and we are a pretty easy crew to please too.

Disappointing. Loud music at the bar. Had to leave. Bartender could not lower it, nor did he ask. Only 4 of us at the bar at 5:30pm. Not very friendly to the guests either. Oh well. So different from a year ago.

We went on a Fox night. Had reservations for 5:45. The service was awful and so slow that 2 of our party ended up not eating. The waiter took 45 minutes to tell us they were out of an item. None of my party would ever go back to this place. It made our fun evening stressful!

We went for brunch on a Sunday and our first clue should have been how empty the restaurant was.Not one thing we ordered was made. We just got whatever they felt like.We ordered two starters two frittatas, and I ordered a drinkMy drink was never made or brought to me.3 mains where brought to our table 1 French toast, 2 egg white omelets. When we asked about our starters and told them we didn’t order a French toast, the water went then and put my husband’s starter in. After our meal when asking for the check they brought the starter. It was a bad enough experience that I’m not sure we will go back to that hotel, I do know I won’t go back to this excuse of a restaurant.Food okay.

Our service was very very slow! Asked for decaf coffee and about 15 minutes later coffee was poured in my cup but not sure it was decaf. Food was delivered but not as described on menu. And we asked for our check because we had a show at the Fox to get to and it took over 20 minutes to get it and then they automatically applied an 18% tip for two people!! Nothing special that would drive me back there!

We went with our kids before the 8pm Friday show of SIX. We flew in from the west coast and did not know there was no kids menu available. The accommodations to find something were made by Cassie and we were grateful. We thought the food and beverages were delicious. The ambiance was delightful. It was prom for some high schoolers and our children loved seeing all the older kids dressed to the nines. We would certainly recommend to friends visiting Midtown.

We arrived at 5:45 and planned to go to Six at the Fox (7:30 show). Ordered our food at six o clock.. trout and butternut squash pasta... around 6:55 we asked where our food was... (had to flag down our server bc she never checked on us). Was told there was an issue with the trout ... but then were told 5 min later they were out of trout. So... we never recd any food ... this happened to me a couple of months ago in the bar area... hamburger orders were ‘lost' ... needless to say... will not be going there again

Food was unremarkable. Our server was pleasant but absent. Aside from our first drink order, everything was delivered late and by another server who seemed to be pitching in for her. Could never find her to order a drink, ask where our food was, get a check ( I had to go inside to get it). The tip was already included. The pitch-hit server should have gotten it. Not happy. We hadn't been here in a while. Now I remember why.

The food was just awful and the place was empty right before a show at the FOX. The trout I ordered was a mushy mess. It was supposed to be pan fried and crispy but appeared to have been precooked and reheated . No flavor. Side carrots were overcooked and the sauce had a burnt flavor. My wife had the salmon and it was overcooked after ordering med raw and the beans were inedible. So sad to see this iconic location be so bad and empty.

Really enjoyed our dinner as we traveled through Atlanta from Asheville to Mobile. Livingston was wonderful. We stopped and stayed in Atlanta ( where we once lived) and had dinner at the Livingston. Although there were some negative reviews of late we found the restaurant exceptional in all areas. Our waiter Earl was great, very attentive and the food ( trout and short rib) was excellent. A perfect break in our travels and will return hopefully soon to enjoy not only the restaurant but the Fox Theatre across the street.

The restaurant seemed to lack any ventilation or air conditioning. Menus given to us were wrinkled and spilled on. Salad was served before our cocktails even arrived. Both entrees we chose were meh. The check came in a very old, cracked, with the cardboard showing check holder. While all of the staff was perfectly pleasant, for the price point of the food, the restaurant was lacking. We would not visit again.

Easter Brunch reservations, did not live up to price or brunch standards. $200+ for 2 people and the selection was limited. Poorly executed 2024 easter. It has been a minute since i went to brunch for easter at livingston, but it was one of Atlanta's premier brunch spots for the holidays. Not Today. Never Again!!!

Top to bottom, our experience here was pretty awful. As we parked in self parking, we were given the option of “are you going to an event at the Fox for $50 parking or are you a hotel guest,” so we selected the hotel guest option. There were no signs posted telling us what the hourly parking rates were. Also, because there was an event at the Fox today, the typical 3 hour validation you usually get when dining at the Livingston isn’t available. I went to the front desk of the hotel to ask the woman behind the counter how much hourly parking was. She said she didn’t know and I should ask the valet (how’s that for customer service?). At this point, another woman came over who also didn’t know the answer but went to find out. I was told the first hour is $10, 2nd hour total is $15, and $20 for all day, yet when we exited the deck, we were charged $50 for event parking, even though we had selected hotel guest parking. Now for the restaurant. We had reservations and approached the host stand. After a couple minutes, a server came over and seated us. There were 3 servers taking care of the entire restaurant with a manager or food runner running food. These servers were responsible for setting tables, busing tables and seating people, as there was no host - but there’s an automatic 20% gratuity, which almost always means service is terrible, and this was no exception. After sitting for a few minutes, our server came over and just asked if he could take our order. Didn’t introduce himself, so I’m not able to leave a name in this review. My husband ordered the burger medium, and it came out closer to rare. We had to ask for mayo/mustard as there was none on the burger. There also isn’t cheese or onion on it, and a big part of the lettuce was brown. Nobody ever stopped by the table to check on us once our food was dropped. We had to wait for our check for quite some time, as our server hadn’t returned to even refill our waters.Clearly I’m not the first one to leave a negative review about this place, but with the number of negative reviews, it’s also obvious management simply doesn’t care to do better, or they would. I wish had read reviews before dining here, but this will be a one and done experience for me here.

Lamonte and Daionte provide the best service and great recommendations. It felt like being with family. The food that was served was flavorful and worth

Service is VERY slow. I ordered the eggs Benedict, couldn't eat the English muffin as it was COLD! My mom and I typically come here before seeing a performance at The Fox. For an 11:30 reservation, and a 1p show you would think that would be plenty of time, yet I always feel like we're cutting it close. The servers are not particularly attentive. It's so convenient to the Fox and I have season tickets, but I'm afraid Mom and I are going to have to find another brunch option for future shows.
