Appeared to be shut down
This place is closed and is still accepting reservations online. Almost ruined my daughters birthday dinner
My niece showed up with a party of twenty for a confirmed reservation and the restaurant is permanently closed. Why would you confirm a reservation and you are no longer open?? Plus you are still taking online orders?? Huh?? You almost ruined her 17th birthday.

The food was subpar at best. We were actually shocked because of The Beverly’s name but it was not good. However, another cooked asked if he could remake my food, and it was much better the 2nd time. Service wasn’t great and we were literally 1 of two parties there. To say the menu is priced double of what they charge at The Beverly we expected way more. Huge disappointment.

I selected Lock & Key for my friend’s birthday brunch on May 25, 2024.
When we arrived yesterday (May 25th) for our reservation, we were seated by the hostess then our server (Isaiah) came over a few minutes later with water then disappeared for a while. He didn’t speak or introduce his self. He didn’t even make mention that the menu was on the one small QR code on our large table, so we waited around for a menu. It wasn’t until he came back several minutes later to ask for our order that he showed us the small qr code menu holder.
Throughout that entire time, Isaiah’s energy was completely off, so much so where we asked multiple times if he was okay and tried to joke with him to cheer him up.
After we placed our order, we waited patiently. Our drinks got low and others wanted to order other drinks. We asked the hostess if she could locate Isaiah for us. Checking on drinks and to make sure everything is going well at a table should be a natural part of service at a restaurant.
My order came out cold, the two people who ordered shrimp & grits said their shrimp was too salty.
The catfish and chicken & waffle orders were all really good, tasty, well seasoned and came out at a good temperature.
Towards the end of our time at the restaurant we noticed a shift in Isaiah’s service. A guy with a light gray polo shirt had come in by that time and it was apparent he was the manager/owner. From the time he entered, everyone’s mood in the restaurant changed. Things began to operate well. Isaiah started acting as a server and no longer like he was burdened to be at work that day.
This beautiful establishment has so much potential! The ambience is gorgeous, the DJ was great, most of the food was good…the employees just need to show the same level of service that they do in the presence and absence of the owner/manager.

Great food, HORRIBLE service. We (my group of 5) were the only ones in the restaurant for the entire night and it still took 2 HOURS to get our food. The first hour was spent trying to determine what they actually had as they were out of so many things, even after I asked if they had everything.
We settled on two tomahawk steaks. They offered a complimentary round of drinks. We never received them either. We asked them to change one of the tvs and that took 30 minutes. It took an hour (61 minutes exactly) to get our steaks after they said it would take 30 to 40 minutes .
Did they offer any discount? No. Did they put the automatic gratuity? Yes.
Oh and the whole place smelled like weed.
My group routinely spends 500+ on our monthly dinners. We will never go back as a group and it is highly unlikely any of us will return individually.
The absolute worst dining experience I've ever had in Atlanta.

Terrible service, they act like they don’t want to serve you in a EMPTY restaurant. The hours are not real, they stop service when staff wants to. Food not great and drinks mid. Extremely overpriced. Unfortunate Because a pretty restaurant but don’t let the looks fool you

Went during lunch on a Friday and had such a good time! The chef accommodated my gluten allergy and the bartender was friendly and took care of me and my friends needs for lunch. What took my breath away was the decor! It was so beautiful and there and the food was matching that energy by tasting as good as the place looks! 5 stars all around ppl! Lol
Oh get them Brussel sprouts you won't regret it lol

I took my mom here for Mother's Day and was extremely disappointed. I made reservations for 1:30 and was seated within 10 minutes. My mom ordered crab cakes as an appetizer and we were ready to order quite quickly. Unfortunately, our food took over 2 hours to come. TWO HOURS for two simple meals. I was most disappointed by the lack of remorse from management. At no point did a manager come to apologize, or simply acknowledge, the fact that several patrons had to wait for hours for their meals to come. I understand that this is a business and money must be made, but not being compensated in any way when most people were there to celebrate Mother's Day, is insane. My mom's food arrived well after 3 PM and mine came about 10 minutes later. Still no appetizer! We ended up asking our server to remove it from the ticket. The wings weren't well seasoned and my mom noticed their menu advertises 4 wings, but the meal only comes with 3. The French toast was pretty good (very sweet). The crab cakes eventually came once we were finished with our meals! My mom enjoyed them. I really wanted to like this place since I love the their sister restaurant, The Beverly. Unfortunately, my experience was so poor that I don't think I'd ever want to go back to give it another try.

OMG! My family took me here today for Mother’s day. Arrived at 3p. It’s now 5:32p. My daughter just received her meal. My son-in-law is still waiting for apart of his meal. The other four meals staggered in individually, therefore we each ate separately and not as a group. What a horrible experience. Please, please do not waste your time or money by coming to this place. The taste and quality of the food was not good enough to compensate for everything else. This spot gives Atlanta dining a very, very bad presentation and I would be embarrassed to bring anyone here that I was trying to impress with the good things about Atlanta. At check time after even more time had passed, the manager provided an excuse and a small discount. Based on today’s experience I recommend they have a major improvement or close down.V. M.
Terrible food and slow service. Completely ruined Mother’s Day. Count your days.
