Came here for Valentines Day. Ordered the Fish and Chips which was not only undercooked but also reeked of ammonia which is often a sign of spoiled fish. I do not believe this a place you should order seafood. After taking 1 bite of the fish I could not eat it and now have what I believe is food poisoning.

This place is nice in theory (a restaurant situated in the Botanical Gardens) however for an experience that requires garden entrance just to partake, the food should be much better quality.

I would not recommend anyone eat here.

I would say that our last experience was out of the ordinary. We usually eat at Longleaf and haven't had a mediocre meal until yesterday. The fish (fish and chips) just dell apart and could not be eaten by hand or with a fork (as pieces fell in the mound of fries it was served on top of. Hubby liked his burger. Kids chix fingers breading was so hard that we had yo peel it off. All fries were a bit heavy/soggy. I would recommend bread service, salads and pastas.

Food was good but overpriced. Service just horrible. Food took forever, 1 hour for the main meal it is a joke, our server, a young black gentleman with dreads, barely checked our table and it was impossible to catch his attention to get us a second round of drinks, so as the other people on the staff, Definitely not coming back, not even worth a tip.

Wanted to eat inside. There were available tables inside but they insisted we needed to sit on patio. Thought this reservation would allow us to. Food is good but ridiculously expensive and $12 for bread....really.

The food quality has improved, but they definitely need more staff, especially during special events like garden lights. We sat down at 6:15 pm and our food didn't arrive until 7:30 pm.

We went to the Holliday Lights and decided to eat at Longleaf. It was very good food but even better service. Our server, Miya (sp) was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel like special guests.

Food and service were great. We suggest if youre going to the Atlanta Botanical Garden, you plan a meal at this restaurant.

We dined there last night right before we strolled through the Christmas lights in the gardens. Everything was EXCELLENT especially our server Maya! The food was amazing. Soooo many flavors. Our sons loved their meals ! Our 17yo tried the Duck Confit and ate every bit of it! Maya knew the menu intimately and helped us decide. If you can request Maya, you MUST. She’s a STAR ! We sat outside and it was fine because they have the clear vinyl walls up so it wasn’t too cold. Our reservations were at 5:15 and we walked out dinner off strolling thru the gardens afterwards. Oh! The pumpkin cheesecake was AMAZING!! MAya, thank you for taking such great care of us!

We had a great experience at Longleaf - excellent service, exceptional food, and comfortable atmosphere. I would highly recommend this restaurant! The lamb bolognese with the Beaune red wine was particularly fantastic! Great experience!!

This could be skewed due to being the day after Christmas. We entered the Gardens at 5:00 for the Garden Nights & Holiday Lights and spent the first 35 minutes on the Ice Godess loop.

The Bad
We showed up at Longleaf 9 minutes before our 5:45 reservation and were encouraged to come back in 5 to ten minutes. I didn't see anyone waiting to be seated. We went to look at the G scale trains for 5 minutes and returned to be seated. After my wife ordered Sancerre, the server returned saying they were out but would she like to try the Rosé. My wife wanted to taste it first and that was agreed. It was more than 20 minutes before the sample was delivered and it was not acceptable, seemed watery. Another wine was chosen.
Oysters were delivered but we had to ask which three were East Coast and which were West Coast and request spoons for the sauces. We became Donor members of the Botanical Gardens a month ago and I thought the membership included a discount at restaurants. The server told me that was only in September which I thought odd. I asked a manager and was told the discount was always available. Late in the meal we were advised our server had left for the evening. The server that took over had 3 other tables going and did nothing apart from fill a water glass but I assume she received the tip on a $200 check.

The Good
The oysters were enjoyed. The crispy pork belly was very tasty and paired nicely with the apples. Two people shared scallops which were outstanding. My duck confit was very nice and the cassoulet was tasty. The burger was juicy and delicious and fries were great.

If we return, I hope the service will match the food experience we enjoyed this time.

I love the mushroom porcini stock pasta. A decent choice for vegetarians who do not mind mushrooms broth. They did not have pizza.
