The restaurant is located in the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and it has a modern decor. The menu is diverse, suitable for families (we saw the largest corn dog I've ever seen in a ‘smart casual' venue!) and more sophisticated palettes. The scallops were very nicely seared and the lamb bolognese with english peas were tasty food arts. It was busy and the food came out a little slowly. One of the party insisted on dessert and after waiting for almost 30” with him, I left to enjoy the gardens. He eventually showed up, but I was disappointed the server was not proactive on this. No one should wait that long for a slice of premade pie!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Longleaf in the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and Chef Ryan and his team did an absolutely fantastic job. We were celebrating a birthday, and the staff truly made us feel extra special, which added so much to the experience. Our server, Madison, was incredibly attentive and accommodating, and another server who assisted her was equally wonderful. The entire atmosphere was warm, inviting, and relaxing—perfect before an evening walk through the Garden Lights.
The food and drinks were exceptional. I ordered a refreshing mocktail garnished with candied ginger, and you could truly taste the freshness in every sip. Everything we ordered was clearly made from scratch.
For appetizers, we enjoyed the beef tartare, clam chowder, and the standout cauliflower hummus. While everything was delicious, the beef tartare and especially the cauliflower hummus were unforgettable. The hummus was incredibly fresh with a perfectly creamy texture—one of my favorite dishes of the night.
For our entrées, we tried the double-stack Wagyu smash burger, the beef short rib, and a kale salad. We also ordered side dishes of roasted carrots, truffle mushrooms, and fingerling potatoes—each one absolutely phenomenal and bursting with flavor. All the dishes were vibrant, fresh, and cooked to perfection.
For dessert, we enjoyed a s’mores tart and a pumpkin cheesecake, paired with a cup of coffee. It was the perfect ending to a truly wonderful meal.
I highly recommend trying Longleaf before walking the Botanical Garden holiday lights. The lights were breathtaking and made the entire evening even more special. Just a tip: make your Garden Lights reservation for a little earlier than your dinner reservation, since the restaurant is inside the garden and you need entry before dining. We had a small mix-up with our times, but thankfully the staff was very accommodating and made sure we could get to the restaurant without any issues.
Overall, this was an incredible dining experience—delicious food, excellent service, and a magical setting. We felt celebrated and cared for the entire evening. I would absolutely return and recommend it to anyone visiting the garden during the holidays

Wow, what a great dining experience before enjoying the Christmas lights. We had Madison as our server. She was attentive and sweet. Chef Ryan and his team created amazing food from start to finish. We generally do not order hummus but the cauliflower hummus was creamy and unique. The wagyu tartare was delicious. Our meals were short ribs, kale salad and the double smash burger, along with vegetable sides. We ended with the pumpkin cheesecake and the chocolate tart. We had several leftovers since the portions are generous. Thank you for an amazing dinner and birthday celebration.

3 of 4 meals were terrible. Lions Mane Steak was inundated with pepper. Should be named bottle of pepper. Duck salty. Child's chicken fingers were as if in freezer too long then overcooked in fryer. Items on menu not available Multiple requests made to get service

I ordered the scallops and I was surprised they were one of the most expensive things on the menu. The portion was tiny, which is fine for me since I don't eat much, but I was surprised and thought that for most people, this wouldn't be enough. But they were so salty. I quickly drank my glass of water to offset the salt but no one ever came to refill my glass. The rest of my family said their meals were salty too. They had short ribs and hamburgers. We had no water left. Not sure what's up with the excess of salt in the dishes, but very unnecessary.

We had a very good experience at Longleaf. The staff was courteous and friendly. We ordered cocktails and apps first. It did seem to take awhile to get them but no problem when all were delicious. One note though about the Clam Chowder. It was more like a potato soup and nothing like clam chowder so was returned and removed from the bill. All entrees were fabulous, short ribs, lamb bolognese, mushroom risotto and scallops. Beautiful lights to view from our table. All in all - thoroughly enjoyed our dinner.

My wife and I had lunch at Longleaf during our first visit to the botanical gardens. The menu is impressive for a small restaurant inside another attraction. However even more impressive was the food. I had the short rib and my wife had a salad with salmon. Both were delicious. The rib was incredibly soft and full of flavor. The fresh bread is also a must. Aside from the food, the service was also excellent. Compliments to our waitress! I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant when you are at the Atlanta botanical gardens!

Great burgers and service. $21 for a hamburger is steep but the atmosphere and service makes it a special evening.

I had a great experience at the Longleaf restaurant. The hostess and server were so kind and hospitable. The restaurant had indoor and outdoor seating options; which both gave a nice view. The food was served in a timely manner. The drinks were good but could have been “stronger”. Overall I would definitely be back and recommend.

My server did an amazing job the food, a strawberry salad of some sort was not only delicious but had been plated beautifully, I also ordered a hibiscus lime cocktail- the cocktail was served with a dried lime and a pansy I asked about the flower since it had nothing to do with the drink and truly believe the drink would be more elegant without the edible flower that was completely useless other than esthetics I heard the bartender basically yell across the restaurant it was edible - which was obviously directed towards me so unprofessional- I was later told by my server it was a pansy as I thought the bartender had chosen to increase her food cost for a completely useless reason and tried shaming one of the patrons, me, I will admit I appear disheveled due to running around town on a hot humid day, being from CA was not use to Altanta’s weather, but regardless of my appearance it was completely unacceptable to have that behavior towards any paying patron. I was ultimately disappointed in the service I received. The food was delicious! And both the hostess and server did a great job too bad the bartender had ruined the experience

Had the pleasure of dining at Longleaf, located inside the Atlanta Botanical Garden—and it did not disappoint!

The ambiance was spectacular, with beautiful surroundings and a relaxing vibe. I started with the crispy pork belly appetizer—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. For dinner, I had the sea scallops, which were cooked to perfection. Paired it with a margarita that was smooth, tasty, and not watered down.

Service was top-notch—Russ did an excellent job from start to finish. There’s plenty of parking, and while it’s a little on the pricey side, you truly get what you pay for: quality food, great service, and an unforgettable atmosphere.

Highly recommend stopping by Longleaf the next time you visit the Botanical Garden. I’ll definitely be going back!

Lovely setting and atmosphere. It was a beautiful day and we sat on the patio. Our server was delightful and the salads were delicious. After a stroll in the gardens, it is a delightful place to dine and relax.

Lovely outdoor brunch on a perfect Fall day in Atlanta! We were surrounded by beautiful plants and very interesting scarecrows! Perfect day!

Lunch for four on a beautiful autumn day. The last few times, the service had been slow, but much better on this visit. We had to ask for the crackers for the charcuterie, but it came quick enough and one of had to ask twice for lemon for her iced tea. Everyone's meal was very good, clam chowder, fish and chips and kale salad. Still al little on the expensive side for lunch, though.
