Such a fun bar! It’s a younger crowd but regardless if you’re looking for a laid-back atmosphere to get reasonably priced drinks and have a great time with friends (especially during games) this is the perfect spot!

I came here my first night in from from Chicago and my first impression was how freezing cold it was as soon as you walked in. There’s no reason why heaters shouldn’t be put in place during the winter time to avoid this. it was so cold that the bartender was shaking as she was serving our drinks. Mind you it’s 20 degrees outside & feels the same inside because they have back & front doors open to the patios. There also was a BUNCH OF KIDS. Not my type of crowd but I was there w my younger family member.
Nonetheless the music was trash but we stayed to finish our drinks. While standing around in the crowd comes a security guard pushing aggressively through everyone leaving the restroom or something not even in a hurry she’s just pushing thru everyone to the point where I looked back to see who was pushing me this hard. She yells to me MOVE. And I say its excuse me and she comes back & says you see my vest & I said it’s called respect.. a vest doesn’t excuse respect. And she didn’t like that so she says you know I can put you out right and she decides to put us out in COLD AND TRY TO FIGHT US all bc of her wrongdoing & pride. Mad, yelling over her coworkers shoulders as they are telling her to calm down. Her coworkers aren’t impressed by her either as they backed us up and said they 100% believe that happened and we weren’t wrong. She’s a rentacop who takes her job too seriously with her Amazon badge and vest. While talking to her security coworkers about how displeased we are and couldn’t believe that happened they kindly asked to do a review on the security company and not Lost Dog but I still will bc this is who y’all allow to patrol your business. This will do nothing but run PAYING CUSTOMERS away. It ruined my entire night and I do not appreciate this ghettoness while being out trying to have a good time. I really want to do a tik tok for my 100k followers to warn them

Horrid, overly loud, dangerous place terrorizing the neighborhood. Someone in the crowd tried to steal my wallet. Food and drinks are awful, will give you a food poisoning

Terrible experience. The food and drinks were subpar. The “bouncer” was extremely rude and acted like a hallway monitor. I also saw him put his hands on girls that were not doing anything wrong. He then got in their face and yelled at them. Apparently the bouncer also stole accessories from the guests’ costumes and when he was confronted, he waved five dollars in the air and yelled at the girls to take it from him. I wish I had a video of this bouncer because that is no way you should treat ladies or guests attending the bar. It is very unfortunate how disappointed I am with how awful this establishment has gotten. If you don’t want your items stolen, hands put on you, or someone getting in your face to yell, do NOT go to this bar.

This place literally sucks they wanted to force you to get a drink to go down to the patio and it smelled terrible throughout - don’t come here unless u want to waste a ton of money to have the most mid experience of all time

Crowded place full of kids. Granted, I'm only 21. Still, this was full of literal kids. The kids in front of us in line all bragged about their new fake IDs. It was absolutely packed and full of nicotine air. Nothing special, cutesy, or relaxing about this place. Just felt like a trashy house party. The restrooms were rough, especially for men. The drinks we each got were $8 which was reasonable.

Parking: Be sure to pay for parking in a nearby lot. It's paid parking from like 11pm-8am. Don't let the sign confuse you! This is the bar district right here so you definitely have to pay for late night parking. You will get booted for $300 if you don't pay.

Wheelchair accessibility: It was super inaccessible. There is no way to get a wheelchair to the main area which is down lots of steps.

The drinks at Lost Dog Tavern were some of the weakest I've ever had at a bar. When you order a vodka-cranberry, be prepared to receive a glass of mostly cranberry juice with barely a hint of vodka. The manager on duty was unhelpful and dismissive. I was shoved from behind by a security guard while going down the stairs, causing me to spill my drink (one bartender was cool though and replaced my drink). With so many better options in Atlanta, especially around the Buckhead area, I don't think I'll be returning to Lost Dog Tavern.

Not my favorite place but very college / dive bar vibes. Pretty crowded and hot on Friday night in the outdoor patio area. Rest of bar was more sparse

My son’s iPhone was pickpocketed while there and a friend in his group also saw a guy steal a girls purse and run off. The establishment also serves underage kids drinks and the wristbands mean nothing. According to other reviews, neither of these issues are new.

The place is cooler for younger people (mainly underage). That black wide female blue-eyed contact security guard with the grew out edged-braids looking like one of the gross sisters from proud family has the nerve. She said “I remember faces” when I took the purchased Red Bull with me outside the bar and I said “We’re never coming back”. This interaction is the reality of our night.

I’d rather go to the racist dive bar buckhead right next door. And mind you, this commotion at lost dog started over a purchased Red Bull from inside the bar. 1 out of 8 security guards at the door on a power trip standing around grabbed me. Lol what was he going to accomplish? Was he going to beat me up? Good job on security, y’all are over-staffed and bored. Use that money for something useful like paying the bartenders more since security can’t even do their job right.

Honestly I would’ve understood and complied if huncho hunch back lady was nice about it. But her telling us we should’ve finished the $10 Red Bull we just paid for at the bar to go downstairs to an overcrowded area with underage people shortly before the bar closes… And then telling us we have 30 seconds to finish it but we can’t stand outside to do it and we have to go inside but then we have 30 seconds to finish it. And telling us we’re taking selfies so get on??? Even when my friend was just taking a picture of the sign and she wasn’t the one drinking the Red Bull? Are you mad? wow. I god forbid would get a caprisun to-go from lost dog, and security is going to elbow drop me on concrete because they can’t use their head.

According to the law in GA, what I did was not illegal so they’re just pulling tricks out their rear for a pat on the back. Rather give my money for lost dogs to ATL scammers at this point. Like I said, when I say we’re never coming back, we’re never coming back.
