Nestled in the heart of Buckhead. This sophisticated literary experience of dining is tasteful and quaint. Lucian offered a wonderful dining experience while surrounded by exquisite coffee table books. Eddie offered supreme service with suggestions from the menu. The steak was like butter, melting at every bite. The oysters were fresh and adorned a refreshing hint of pear. The Chocolate Budino topped with Pistachios rounded out the meal superbly.

As good as it gets. Every wine by the glass is delicious. Backed by an extensive bottle menu. Food is outstanding.

The servers forgot to bring wine twice, the pace of coursing is super slow (2 hrs after ordering without dessert), and I left hungry after ordering quite a bit. Beautiful space, but the food is lacking. I would recommend coming only for drinks.

Walked in to treat myself to a nice cocktail and a small bite. The look of the restaurant is beautiful and intimate. Great for a drink at the bar with a book or for a date. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very helpful with recommending a cocktail and food. She suggested a delicious yuzu cocktail that I had with an amazing custard dessert that was decorated with glazed pears and other fruit.I enjoyed sitting at the bar and talking with the staff who were very helpful on recommending great dishes and delivering excellent service.

I’ve been here for lunch and dinner. Google restricts my review to one meal (at least for photos and menu items) but I’d love to share my experiences of both.My latest visit was for lunch. This is one of the most underrated lunch experiences in Atlanta. The atmosphere is light, airy, casual but elevated/sophisticated. Menu seems unassuming but has some absolute knockouts. Service was also just really enjoyable; I’m not much of a conversationalist but had Caroline at the bar and ended up having one of the best restaurant chats in recent memory, and was guided through the menu for an awesome selection of the omelette, sticky toffee pudding, and coffee.Dinners are more intimate, and a little hard to get a reservation so it’s been tough for my schedule. Unsure how a group reservation would go but can vouch for solo trips and dates, or close 1:1 catch ups. Despite the reservation struggles, I appreciate the smaller seating capacity and streamlined menu. I suppose I’d like more small bite options to pair with the wine because I always end up getting the Jamón Ibérico and would like more meats, but that’s knit pick.I’ll end with a confirmation that the book store element is not a gimmick and not aesthetics only - the curation is so well done. I’ve gotten 5 books as gifts and 2 for myself.Really appreciate this spot. Atlanta could use more spaces like this that execute on the actual food experience as well as they do in the creativity and vibe.Parking: It’s Buckhead so there’s technically plenty of parking. It’s just you kinda have to pick a garage and walk, and the garages can be a bit expensive + I’m directionally challenged and always end up taking the wrong way back to my car.

First time dining at Lucian a few weeks ago for lunch and came to several conclusions. 1. Lucian is a jewel. 2. Our bartender, Caroline, took our experience from a 10/10 to an 11/10

Came here for lunch and had a wonderful time! The duck was delicious and the portions were plenty. I started with a house martini and had a glass of wine (per my servers recommendation) that paired perfectly. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a celebratory meal here. It was excellent. It has a limited menu (extensive wine menu - but we don’t drink) but we were all able to choose things we wanted! Our server guided us through ordering and we were able to sample quite a bit. Keep in mind you won’t get plates overloaded like most restaurants - so listen to your server and order several things. We were actually able to eat dessert because we were not stuffed. Food, service and attention to detail definitely Michelin Star worthy (apparently they have been evaluated)Dietary restrictions: Gluten free accommodations available

We came for the Valentine’s Day set menu and was super excited to try this place out. The ambience and atmosphere was intimate and romantic. Our server was great and very attentive. While the food was flavorful and well balanced, we were thoroughly disappointed with the portion size. There were barely two spoonfuls for the soup, and the pasta dish was minuscule. For the price we paid, we were unsatiated and had to grab a burger afterwards. Maybe they ran out of food and had to portion it out ?‍♀️. Would not recommend going back for the set menu at the price point.

This place is a culinary star in Atlanta. The food is delicious. We had the chicken liver pate (5 stars!), the polenta (SO good), the taglioni bolognese, and duck (cooked perfectly). A small restaurant with a big voice. The service is some of the best I've experienced anywhere. Ashley, a true professional, was absolutely wonderful and contributed to a fabulous experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for ANY occasion.

I LOVE Lucian. I've been for lunch and dinner and both are incredible. The interior is cozy and chic without being stuffy or uncomfortable. And the food (especially at lunch) and cocktails are always a 10/10. I've come for date night, with my mom for Mother's day, and with my girlfriends for a nightcap and it's always the best.
