✨ 18 Years & Counting ✨ For our 18th wedding anniversary we experienced the beautiful Marcel Restaurant.....oh my goodness! From the food to the service to the ambiance—everything was top notch, exactly what you'd expect from a Michelin Guide venue. We started with oysters topped with Marcel's savory butter and breadcrumbs, escargot with parsley, butter and sourdough, and a freshly handcrafted Caesar salad. For the main course: an 18oz bone-in New York strip (rare, of course!) and halibut crowned with Alabama jumbo lump Oscar. On the side, roasted mushrooms and the most incredible Cacio e Pepe. Dessert was a showstopper—a towering 10-layer chocolate cake with vanilla Chantilly cream and hot fudge. Pure perfection. The service was second to none. The sides and desserts were fabulous. One of our 3 steaks was outstanding the other two (porterhouse and bone-in filet) were not as good as I was expecting.
