It was my wife's birthday and a week before I spoke with someone about special requests; Everything requested went flawlessly. The food was amazing, drinks top tier and the ambiance was romantic with light noise. Kevin (our server), had a lovely personality and was the icing on the cake. I'm finding that this brand of restaurants are all equally lovely.

Bartender was ok (not engaging, didn't talk us through the menu despite stating first time, mininal service - Asked for anchovies on the salad (twice) and told me it was in the dressing..lol. The guy behind the bar was great tho.Very attentive and thoughtful. Fries were held under a lamp. Steak and salad were on point. Love Marcel. Bar experience was not the best relative to previous experiences at Marcel. Shout out to the staff for being flexible with my reservation!!! Im appreciative.

We go out a lot and we love a great place for some steak and the steak that we had was phenomenal, very tasty! Didn't even need a sauce! *chefs kiss! Will definitely be coming back!

One of the most charming touches was a personalized menu stamped with “Happy Birthday”—a thoughtful detail that truly stood out. The wine list was outstanding, offering a broad range of selections at various price points. My guest, a French citizen and Pilot has traveled to over 72 countries, remarked that he had never encountered a wine selection as extensive and impressive as Marcel's. We chose a Côtes du Rhône, which was incredibly smooth and full of flavor. I especially appreciated seeing it decanted at the table—such a lovely touch. For dinner, I ordered the Filet Mignon with mashed potatoes, while my friend chose the Escargot and French Onion Soup. Every bite was a delight. The filet was exquisitely tender and bursting with flavor—possibly the best I've ever had. The escargot was expertly prepared, and the soup rich and satisfying. We ended the meal with a classic Crème Brûlée, which arrived adorned with a chocolate “Happy Birthday” sign and a candle—a sweet and elegant finale. The service throughout the evening was impeccable. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

I've been wanting to check out this restaurant for awhile and even with the very good reviews, it exceeded my expectations. The quality of the steaks were exceptional, outstanding decor, great cocktails and perfect service. Absolutely worth the pricing in my opinion and a new fave that I will visit repeatedly.

I made some homemade vegetable soup and wanted a good sourdough bread to go with it when I remembered this place! Google Maps brought me up on the backside of the location! If you use Google Maps, the front door is on the opposite side of the building! Because I got there close to closing time, the pickings were slim for sourdough bread! What I got was not what I had in mind! It was hard on the outside and a little too tough for me! It also had a bitter taste as if it might have been burnt! Can you burn bread? I hope someday go back and try a regular loaf of sourdough bread because it is my favorite bread next to multi-seeds! I hear they have a pretty good cheeseburger that they only sell for a limited time on Sundays! But haven't we been down this rabbit hole with H&F? And where are they now?
