Reservation made for 5pm. I was seated promptly upon arrival. Server was very enthusiastic & seemed knowledgeable about the menu. She suggested & explained a cocktail which was a play on the French 75. When the drink came out, it looked nothing like what was described. We were particularly excited about the edible rose that she mentioned, which was not in the room. Additionally, the deviled eggs were very underwhelming. I don't think I would have finished them had it not been for the hot sauce that was served with them. I ordered the miso salmon as an entree. The salmon was ok, however, the crab fried rice was very mushy & wet. The portion size of the entire dish was astounding. My friends that accompanied me had been to this restaurant several times. I had only been once just last month (January) for brunch & thoroughly enjoyed everything & was excited to come back for dinner. My friends agreed that everything, including the food, seemed “off.” The food presentation was notably different, too, & was recognized by the friend that ordered the same in the past. She also noted that the cornbread was served in a baking dish prior, but simply on a plate this time. I'm expecting more of a mom & pop vibe, but it seems as if they are attempting to upgrade to a finer dining experience, which just is not fitting. After 1 drink, an appetizer, a small entree, and nearly $100 later, i am sad to say that i will not be back. I was expecting so much more based off my first experience 💔
Breakfast buffet was perfect per usual. Marcus is never a miss. I sat at the bar and the bartender was great!
It was overall a very nice experience. The food is very good however it did take a little long to get our food brought to the table and our drinks as well but the waiter was very nice and did a good job. Definitely will go back again.
The food was fabulous! I am going to return to try other things on the menu. I have to add that we received excellent service as well.
I had a WONDERFUL experience during my first time dining at Marcus Bar & Grille. The food, drinks, and service were all top notch. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Our first time was an amazing experience. My fiancé and I were celebrating his birthday, and this restaurant was the perfect balance of sophisticated but comfortable. Our server, Angela gave great recommendations and tended to us very well. We were also greeted by a manager who asked us how everything was going during our course. The music set a smooth r&b vibe, and the dim lighting complimented the ambiance. As far as the food, we tried the cornbread as an app which was warm soft and sweet! I tried the redfish which was seasoned to perfection and paired well with the sweetness of the cranberry and spice carrot garnish. My fiancé tried the Seafood Piccadilly, and I love that the shrimp and crab were pan-seared with a little crunch. We tried the mashed potatoes as a side, and they didn't have the most flavor so we'll try the mac n cheese next time. Finally, Angela brought a complimentary dessert which was great! It was a red velvet cinnamon roll with pecans and brown sugar and it was the perfect way to cap off the night. We will definitely be back!
Lovely experience from start to finish. Jackie was our server and she was an absolute delight. She gave us great recommendations and checked on us multiple times during the meal. The aesthetic of the restaurant was Afrocentric, modern and relaxed. The open style kitchen was a treat! Watching the final touches of your meal be prepared, added to the warm dining experience. We will definitely be back.
I have had the pleasure of experiencing superior customer service and soulful dining twice within a matter of days. I am looking forward to my next visit. This place is a vibe for family, friends, and working when the office or home isn't cutting it. The atmosphere feels like home, like you want to leave your shoes at the door. Walk with me. When you enter from the cold, you're greeted with a warm smile. Whether at the bar or in a booth, your seat is waiting for you. The staff serves as if they were heaven-sent. The chefs cook with love. You will see them around sharing new culinary inspiration and taking in the fruits of their labor. Don't forget the bartenders are there to fill your cup, whether you need a specialty cocktail or a trustworthy advisor, they've got you covered. This is the place to get your fix. There's decent street parking (Atliens understand). And last but not least, the menu is packed with dishes and flavors that're set to have you coming back for more every time. Trust me, I know!
Outstanding service, and a fun experience! Food was very good, but uneven. Cornbread, wings fabulous, salads, reddish underwhelming. But we had a good time and would return.
Server wasn't very well versed on drinks options and menu food knowledge. Many screwups on order

One of your employees copied my card information and ordered online from several places, only Target allowed the transaction, somebody needs to contact me asap
Great experience! A little pricey but what do you expect in Atlanta! DJ was amazing on Sunday. Little things like the sweet tea being crazy sweet so was the cornbread, but nothing to complain about everything was flavorful. I'd come back.

I wanted to support a black-owned business for our Founders Day. Despite having a reservation, we had to weight 15 minutes for a table to be cleaned. We didn’t pitch a fit because we opted to weight compared to being sat by the door. Our server was Kiera. She provided the most unprofessional service I’ve ever had at a restaurant. It took forever with water, drink orders, and finger me started on the food orders. In the middle of taking our order, she walked away to go greet a man. She spent more time talking to him at the bar than she ever did checking on our table. The food staff, so how long we were waiting for food and provided us with free appetizers. We ordered two cornbreads. Only 1 was provided a hour later. We followed up on the other order to be told they were out of cornbread. Never once did Kiera come to make sure everything was fine. She can’t to see if we needed anything close to the end, we asked for to go boxed. We never received them from her. This could probably be because she had her AirPods in while talking to us. After 15 more minutes of waiting, we finally asked the manager for to go boxes. It was an overall very disappointing experience. What should been a 2 hour dining experience, turned into over 3 simply due to waiting on our server to care of us on numerous occasions through the night. The food staff were super friendly and deserved our tip as they took better care of our table than Kiera ever did.

This was an amazing experience! The food, atmosphere, the live music, it all was great! I had reservations and was able to get seated right upon arrival! This will definitely be my new favorite place! 11/10!
Our food was very flavorful. We highly recommend the seafood Piccadilly, Redfish and cornbread. The seafood gumbo was delicious but overpriced for the quantity. The Manager, server and chef was very welcoming and accommodating!! We enjoyed the DJ and his selections!! We had a great experience and rate it a 4.8 overall.
