Been to One Eared Stag before and was recommended to try out their new restaurant for their famous fried chicken at Mary Hoops’s. Amazing food, not just fried chicken, we also had dirty rice, mac and cheese and oysters. Service on point, very attentive staff. Will definitely go again!
Since I had the fried chicken at the One Ear Stag in Inman Park I had always hoped they would open a separate restaurant. And they did. The fried chicken is a must and the Brussel sprouts are amazing (a bit on the saltier side). The decor is inviting and the staff friendly. And very convenient to get to with plenty of parking behind the restaurant
Went for a Saturday lunch. An odd menu, the sides are primarily breakfast foods, but the chicken comes 3 ways, traditional, hot, and sweet. Hot and sweet are basically sauces added to the chicken. I had traditional, my wife hot. Neither of us were that impressed. The chicken breast was deboned, so it was kind of a big chicken tender. The crust was good, but not spectacular.
