Very little parking space and when we went for order they didn’t have half of the items we wanted. I like Maiko but not this one.
Yuuuuck. Orlando location 100x better
The food and drinks were fantastic, though a bit pricey. However, their matcha ice cream machine wasn’t working after I ordered it, and no one informed me until I went to the counter to ask about my order. I was sitting there waiting for nothing.
We ordered the matcha latte float with mixed ube and matcha soft serve. Both flavors complemented each other beautifully, and the ice cream was smooth, milky, and not too sweet. The iced matcha latte was refreshing as well.
Staff were friendly and helpful with recommendations as we evaluated the menu.
I got the hot matcha tea, unsweetened. The serving size was larger than expected, but still had body and bold flavor.
My wife got the matcha latte float with Ube soft serve. I don’t believe she took a breath, because it was gone QUICK!
We’re glad we drove the hour and a half to get here
Super clean establishment and delicious ice cream and drinks! I recommend the Maiko Special. More spacious than the Duluth location
The Cashier was very friendly and helpful!!! I ordered the matcha and Ube ice cream mix with Taiyaki !! Would definitely be coming back
first time trying cafe maiko and I really liked what I got! I ordered an iced hojicha latte and iced matcha yuzu ginger tea! That second drink was a little watery but I think mixing it helps cause everything sat on the bottom (the matcha yuzu ginger tea).
I’ve been coming here for years. Always a delight.
Place is not opened until 11 pm on Saturday. One of their employees came out and said the closing time of 11 pm was wrong that was posted on their door and on Google.

I have tried most of the matcha places in Atl and this place is by far my favorite. The matcha has such a deep and rich flavor. Their Ube and Hojicha flavors are also my favorite. I get the matcha latte or tea float with matcha ice cream on top so I can get best of both worlds. Plus when the ice cream melts it makes the drink extra creamy.
I usually pass on their seasonal flavors since they tend to be too sweet but this place is called Matcha Maiko so of course I will only come to this place for Matcha.
I love MCM, the matcha is rich and smooth, and their seasonal menu items are always bangers (my favorite recently is the mango sticky rice sundae). One critique: it'd be nice if MCM would open before 1pm. Matcha is a caffeinated beverage like coffee and I'm sure a lot of people would like to stop by way earlier than one to get their fix instead of late in the day. You could get some serious business booming just by opening even 2 hours earlier. Please. Pleasee
The sesame matcha was delicious!
This Review is more on customer service. Came in at 9pm on a Sunday night and no one was there. The two girls were giggling and texting on the phone while I was placing my order with them. Asked them a few questions regarding the drink they waited until they were done with texting and talking to each other before answering my questions. They ended up messing up my order. Had they listened in the first place, they would’ve heard me say no sugar.
Great dessert shop! I mostly the shaved ice with soft serve on top. The soft serve is really good, especially the ube and matcha combo. The portions are quite large too. One of my go-to dessert spots! The staff are really nice and hardworking too! The atmosphere is nice, especially the little nook with the couches. Though sometimes it gets crowded and they run out of soft serve :(
