Was visiting Atlanta from NYC and researched a green tea ice cream place and this is a gem. Amazing green tea ice cream. Not too sweet and not too bitter, just perfect. Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for green tea ice cream… go here ?????

They have a variety of Japanese sweets like Mitarashi and Taiyaki in addition to the regular ice cream such as Matcha and Beni-imo flavor. I love the Maiko special.

The ube latte at this cafe has the ube-ist ube flavor! The shave ice was good-- next time we order it, we'll get the one with the soft serve though. The flavors are very strong, but not overpowering.

Do not get there Chicken Karaage. It is overcooked and doesn't look like the picture. It doesn't even taste like it. I asked them what they can do about the terrible food and the woman looked at me and said there was nothing she could do. They do not refund. Be aware.

I ordered a matcha latte with brown sugar, some onigiri, and shrimp tempura. When I came in, no one was at the register. I waited about 3 minutes before a lady came from the back. My latte came iced. I wanted it hot. The cashier did not ask me if I wanted it hot or cold, and I didn’t specify, but thought the default for latte is hot. When I told her I wanted it hot, she said I ordered from a “cold drink” menu, but nothing on the menus says “cold drinks.” After telling her that, she told me I should have looked at the picture, which was not helpful because there isn’t ice in the picture. She did not offer to remake my drink and was very condescending and dismissive turning her back to me and trying to make it seem like I should have specified, when I feel like she should have asked. The onigiri was terrible. It tasted like a microwaved frozen dish and she put it in a paper bag that stuck to the surface of it. The shrimp tempura was over done, but edible. I ended up throwing the onigiri and the drink away. Shame to have such a terrible service experience here. I’ve come several times before, but only ever for the ice cream, which is great and never had an issue with service before

The Maiko special floats, softserve, and even regular tea taste incredible. The Duluth location boasts even more parking and seating.Parking: The tiny parking lot, shared with adjacent payday loan business, has only a few angle stalls, and another couple that run parallel to Buford Highway.

One of my favorite places to visit in late evenings with my kid for an impromptu matcha tea or ice cream. The tea is available in a variety of flavors and pints to go at $16 a pop. We stick to the tea!

I finally got to try this place out on my last day in Atlanta. It wasn’t busy at night. Employees were pleasant and helpful since the menu was very new to me. The ice cream was not too sweet, just right amount of sweetness. The place was very clean. I liked the decor around the place. Prices weren’t too expensive.-shogun with 24 k gold 5/5 - gold flakes have no real taste but it looks pretty for the pictures.-maiko special 5/5 - shiratama (mochi ball), soft serve, agar jelly with kuromitsu, Japanese chestnut, matcha sponge cake, adzuki red bean, and cornflakes.

I’ve been to this location a few times. It’s clean open airy and well lit. The service is always efficient and prompt. They offer a variety of very high quality matcha flavored desserts ranging from soft serve, shaved ice crepes, teas, frappes and floats. They seasonally offer my favorite, ube soft serve. I love getting the maiko special which is loaded up with different complementary flavors and textures, like mochi, red beans, frosted flakes, bits of green tea flavored cake and more! It’s always feels like a personal treat. If you like matcha ? I highly recommend visiting either of their locations.

The ice cream is great! I think a bit overpriced, but definitely worth a try. Ube ice cream is best. The place smells a bit though because of the proximity to sewage...
