Max's Coal Oven Pizzeria

We are in town for Blake Shelton concert in Atlanta and we love Max pizzeria , we had Thor as our server and he did an outstanding job. The pizza is so yummy !! Meatballs are the best

Great pizza place close to the aquarium. Brian was our waiter and he was really sweet 🤗 They offer glutenfree crust.

Very rude people here they complain because my kid was eating chick fil a in there so we had walk out

5 Stars all the way around. In town for a convention and it’s is the best pizza and salad. We have stopped here for 3 ofour 5 meals. The staff is equally incredible!

During our short trip to atlanta for quick summit, we stopped here for dinner with a couple of co-workers and it was great. The meatballs were very well cooked and melted in your mouth, the breadsticks were fresh out of the oven. The pizza had the perfect crust and the meats not overly salty. To top it all off, the music was on point and catered to my tired millennial soul. If I ever stop in Atlanta again, I'm definitely coming back.

The experience was great! Imad took great care of us. His customer service was on point from beginning to end. He was very knowledgeable of the menu. Kai greeted us as soon as we came through the door with a smile and was very personable. We will be back!

Wings are a FAIL , no flavor after you get through the skin.

Cannolis have NO filling literally not even half way filled.

Pizza NASTY not fully done.

Will not go back.

In Atlanta for Saints game. We saw this place on our way to college football hall of fame. We ordered wings. The wings was nice size and looked amazing. I think they used too much lemon because it was hard to taste the other favors. The pizza was really good. You can tell it was not cheap ingredients. I would order the pizza again not sure on wings unless they use half lemon instead of what they service us

We tried eating at this place twice in one day while in Atlanta and were turned away both times. We went for lunch and were told they wouldn't seat us because they "ran out of dough". Went back to try again for dinner and were refused service because they were no longer seating anyone. It was an hour before closing and plenty of people still in the restaurant. The lady at the front was very unapologetic when I politely brought it to her attention that this was the second time in one day we tried to have a meal here and were turned away. She sorta shrugged her shoulders. Not impressed and wouldn't recommend this place.

The food is delicious, always hot and made with fresh ingredients. The wait staff is super nice and even brought my service dog some fresh water without me even having to ask.

Very, very greasy pizza. Service was subpar. It was very loud. Our table area wasn't very clean. There weren't a lot of options for dinner on a Sunday downtown within walking distance of our hotel suitable for kids. I don't recommend this place.
