I liked the ambience, it felt nice but there were things I didn’t like. The waitresses seemed overwhelmed so I’m wondering if there was no expeditors to assist them with bringing out food. The food was edible. The oysters were nice but my waitress couldn’t tell me the difference in variety. My mashed potatoes were bland and the broccolini was tough. The parm crusted flounder felt like it had a basic breading but the sauce on top helped guide the meal.

We did not have a good experience. It started well as we were seated and served water quickly. We ordered drinks and then our waiter disappeared not to be seen again for almost an hour. No exaggeration. One of the drinks he brought was warm beer and a warm glass to put it in. We sent it back. The food took another 20 minutes after that. After all of that, the food wasn’t great like we expected. Disappointed in the overall experience.

I must say I have had the worst dining experience of my life. We arrived Saturday 3-16-24 and sat @ 5:45. It took 40 mins for our dinner to arrive with about 6 tables seated in the restaurant. We ordered the Crusted Flounder which was fried so hard and burnt it was inedible (I have pictures). The other dish was the stuffed salmon which @ $36 price point I didn’t expect to be served the tail of the fish? I do not eat that part of the fish, and the tail end should never be served in a so-called fine dining establishment. Both dinners were sent back. The flounder came back prepared correctly this time, but the Salmon didn’t have any stuffing. I asked the MGR to show it to me with my fork where the crab and shrimp were, and she just said it’s all chopped up? And would I like something different? So, my 3rd roll of the dice I ordered Fish & Chips. The fish was a funny dark color with black specks as if the oil was dirty (I have pictures). The fish was too greasy to even eat and the 6 Fries on the plate were stone cold! Wouldn’t you think the MGR would make sure the 3rd plate going out would be edible? I left your restaurant without eating a thing. With the long waits for the food, we missed out on the event we were going to and the whole evening was ruined. I have in the past had a good dining experience with M &S. It never occurred to me to check your google reviews and rating with a low 3.9 for that location. The MGR did apply a small discount which was in my opinion too little too late. We still tipped our waiter $20 because he didn’t prepare the food. ALSO, when we were sat at our table it was dirty and covered in salt, we were there at 5:30 hardly no one was dining about 6 tables that I could see. The bathroom was a disaster as well, trash overflowing from the bin and dirty toilets and floor. Also, the table next to us the Lady sent her meal back and didn’t want to order anything else. I can’t convey how horrible it was at this establishment. You have some serious issues at this location with your kitchen and management.

Always great service, food & drinks. Love going to relax for happy hour or dinner. My mom’s favorite bar in town.

M&S is normally a little better. The appetizers and desserts were awesome. The entrees were a little meh. The seabass with crab was a little fishy. Overall it was an okay experience.

All 5 patrons ordered steak. Three plates had to be sent back to get the right center color / temp. Of those three orders, two were sent back a 2nd time. One was about to be sent back a 3rd time and they just offered to comp the meal. The server was great but the kitchen clearly has issues.

A solid meal. Service was a bit slow, but the food was good. Has a local favourite feel to it.

Now our go to restaurant on every trip to the Omni Hotel each March 1, we have never been disappointed. Two consecutive nights we sample everything from the oysters to the Salmon...all delicious. With a fine selection of wines, killer soup and steaks that are delicious and tender, we feel like each dinner is completely different. This year a table by the window gave us the added benefit of watching Billy Strings concert goers heading towards their seats. Thursday and Friday night the service was flawless in a great locale across from Centennial Park. No complaints.
