McCray's Tavern Midtown

We waited hours for a server to come to a reserve table But like the waitress skimmed a couple bucks off my tab Took days to order and receive just drinks food took long to . They were slammed not properly prepared 

I was enjoying my first experience at McCray's till the young man got on the microphone and started playing a trivial game. He was so loud we couldn't hear each other speak so instead of buying another drink we decided to leave. He voice over the speakers was unbearable. Everything else was fine. Good food and good service.

They didn't have our table and then had to separate us into two tables. There was no service at all, and they ran out at least 60% of the beers on the menu. Because we were a big group we did not have any option but to try and make it work. We were there for three hours and it was miserable.

We arrived for our 7:30 pm reservation hoping for a nice Christmas Eve dinner. The first thing the hostess said to us was that they were closing the kitchen early at 8:00 pm. If we had been made aware of that, we certainly would not have chosen this location. But being Christmas Eve, we didn't have another option to go somewhere else. We were rushed to get our food order in and then felt that we needed to eat quickly as they were trying to close. The server was very nice, but forgot to put in our salad order and didn't bring condiments that we requested and never came back to check on us. Lastly, part of the reason we picked this location was because of the holiday pop-up themed decor. They weren't even playing holiday music, it was rap music playing. Overall a disappointing experience

Came to watch the Eagles game & to celebrate my birthday! They sat us right in front of a TV with the game & I really appreciated that. Server was super sweet, food was delicious & the service was great! Thank you so much!!

Classic pub fare but with reasonable prices and great service. Super buttery mac n cheese. I think about it sometimes lol.

Love the christmas decorations! Full enough for the UGA game to have fun but as able to walk in and get seated immediately. Kaleigh was the BEST! Gave all of us recommendations and knew exactly what to get!

Came out of a 2 hour drive from out of town and were dying to eat. McCray’s was very very busy because of the Georgia VS Texas football game but that didn’t stop Kaleigh from giving us the most exceptional service tonight! In the midst of the busy environment, Kaleigh was so attentive, so kind and admirable, and checked in on us to make sure we were taken care of. Such a sweet human! Go visit the Midtown location and ask for Kaleigh as she was the literal sweetest and funniest! Til next time!

The feel of this place is a hometown family bar where everyone is friends... and as my first time, I felt right at home from the patrons and the staff alike! Great job!
