Mellow Mushroom Atlanta - Vinings

We had a Spellers get-together here last night and Mellow Mushroom really knocked it out of the park. They gave us the entire patio, which was perfect, but what made it exceptional was how kind, accommodating, and understanding the staff were — especially around differing sensory and motor needs. Every interaction was respectful and warm.

And the pizza? As always, outstanding. Huge shoutout to Matt, who helped us coordinate the event and made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish.

Highly recommend this location if you’re looking for a place that’s not only delicious but truly welcoming.

I usually come here because I live in the area. The last two times I came to grab a pizza for my boys , I placed my order at the bar, paid and waited for it to be done. Once it was done I was asked repeatedly if I had paid in a very condescending tone AFTER they handed to me and I was walking out of the door (very embarrassing, as If i was walking out without paying?) and it didn’t make it any better that the bartender that took my payment and the tip didn’t say a word as I was being questioned. This happened twice now and let’s just say other people that were not the same color as me weren’t questioned if they paid. Very horrible experience!

Mellow is excellent generally but this review is for Kelsey who was one of the kindest, most attentive servers we’ve had at any restaurant. She was hype about the food and entirely right that the taco nirvana pizza was next level delicious. And on a more personal level, she was so sweet to our baby and super generous when baby girl’s babbling escalated in volume. Thank you, Kelsey — you made this new mama’s night.

We used their catering service for a work training lunch and were very very happy with their service. It was super easy to order and they set everything up for us when it was delivered. I loved That I had a direct contact for any questions or concerns. We loved it so much I just placed an order for our next training. I would highly recommend their catering services. Professional and the food is great as always.

Delicious!

it sucked! ordered meatball sub .it want done took a bite of it told the waitress they took it back and brought the same one back. said no to it they made another. it was ok at best. I'm not going back. a different waitress dropped a pizza she picked it up but there was still a mess on the floor.i told my waitress that someone should clean it up before someone slipped on it!

The food was excellent. I have always enjoyed mellow mushroom regardless of the state we are visiting. However, Molly was our server. She got an attitude when I asked for a straw that was covered in paper. Multiple times she gave me a straw that was unwrapped while she bussed tables and took payments, etc... I would rather not have someone's hands on something I need to place in my cocktail. I even gave her a generous cash tip of $20 for a $45 meal. I wished I would have given less tip because of her negative attitude when asked for an straw. I am sure she did not share the tip with the bartender as expected.
