Located inside the Market someone sitting next to us recommended this place. Even though we had eaten something else, we tried the greens and potato cobbler- both were delicious! The greens were the best I have had since moving to the south and you could smell the sweet spices of the cobbler as soon as you removed the lid and the taste lived up to the expectation! Wow I see some of the reviews, and I strongly have to disagree been eating here for years and normally I may get a plate on a monthly basis. Everything is delicious, veggies and yams especially!! Try the Salisbury steak my favorite and the falafel!
I dropped by this place for lunch. The service was amazingly fast and the mac &cheese was delicious. I even ordered carry out ! A falafel sandwiche and plate of mac & cheese and collard greens. I will go back to this place again . Price is very reasonable and service is very friendly. I highly recommend Metro Deli especially if you love falafel and healthy greens.
