The Absolute Best!!! Every time is always a good time and they remember you and are so thoughtful. I love eating at the sushi bar. And they make the best spicy scallop handrolls.
I've been eating at MF Sushi since it was in midtown, closed and then re-opened years later in Inman Park. It continues to be consistent and it never disappoints! ❤️
Really great spot we stumbled into on a day where most other sushi places were closed. Excellent sashimi, will have to stop through again next time I'm in town!
Impeccable service and what a cute intimate spot. Not crowded at all on Friday night around 8:30/9p Our server was a true delight and his pleasant demeanor and energy added to our date night! My boyfriend and I enjoyed the eel and shrimp roll the best..the baked lobster was a bit more creamy than we would've liked but not horrible. I'm interested in trying the yellowtail, edamame and lychee martini next time.
The food was amazing, the service was great. We love MF. But I have 2 complaints. This visit, the restaurant was louder than usual. And it was way too loud. The second piece of feedback was, we were seated next to a messy table with a toddler, and a couple dressed extremely sloppily. This was a lovely treat, date night for us, we left our kids with a babysitter, so it felt odd arriving to such a nice high end restaurant at 7:30pm, and having to sit next to that type of table. Otherwise we were seated quickly, our server was fantastic, and the food was reliable consistent and absolutely delicious.
It was a great experience dining at MF sushi. It was my 2nd time going. This time was for my wife's bday. They welcomed us as we are entering and asked whose bday it was. All the staff greeted us by saying happy bday. Food was great but bit pricey for some rolls we ordered. Overall experience was good that I would go back.
The atmosphere was definitely awesome and sushi was soooo delicious!!!! Absolutely will visit again :-)
I love this place DOWN. The sushi is always fresh and the yellow tail/Hamachi here is better than most sushi places that I've tried in the area. (Which is my main concern because I eat two orders those yellow tail slices with jalapeños every time I go to a sushi place lol). The Drinks are good. I always get their cute special cocktails. They aren't strong, but they are very instagramable lol
My only issue is that Online it says that they close at 11:00 but I walked in at 10:00 yesterday to have a drinks and apps and they did not serve me. I felt like that was odd seeing as it was an entire hour away from closing. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent selection of high quality nigiri. Ask the server to do a chefs reccomendation platter and they will work with you on the price point and preferences. Service was very attentive.

Food is always delicious! Great service, glass never went empty and she was at the table the second the plate was empty. Perfect evening.
We celebrated our anniversary here and were blown away by the warm friendly service, stunning presentation, and incredibly fresh sushi! The anniversary dessert surprise made the our evening so perfect. Thank you MF Sushi - a true gem in Atlanta!
Nestled within an unassuming corner, this Japanese culinary haven delivers an extraordinary gastronomic odyssey, reminiscent of the meticulous artistry found in Tokyo’s revered establishments. The otoro—sumptuous, with its rich marbling—dissolves effortlessly on the palate, releasing layers of umami that evoke the essence of the sea. The madai (Japanese snapper) sashimi, delicate and pristine, exudes a refined elegance, its natural sweetness accentuated by masterful knife work.
The maki rolls, executed with precision, capture the authentic spirit of Tokyo’s bustling sushi counters, each bite a harmonious interplay of texture and flavor. Service is imbued with omotenashi, a heartfelt attentiveness that transcends mere hospitality, ensuring an impeccable dining rhythm.
A distinguished highlight is the craft IPA sourced from Nagano, its crisp, hoppy notes providing a refreshing counterpoint to the rich tapestry of flavors. This establishment not only honors traditional Japanese culinary philosophies but elevates them, offering a dining experience that lingers gracefully in memory.

A sushi lover’s dream! Such a cute, modern, vibey place to eat some amazing sushi! Had a dinner date here after doing a sake tasting at The Vine Club and this was one of the best food decisions I’ve made! Absolutely loved all our nigiri choices. The lobster box was phenomenal! Everything tasted fresh. I loved the muddled champagne cocktail! Will be adding this to my list of regular sushi options!

Service was great and so was most of the food! Tuna Tataki had an interesting beef jerky flavor, and the tuna temaki and maguro seemed off. Other than that, everything was great and I would definitely recommend!
