I loved the food, the service was excellent, but I have to note something that I had to bring up with the manager, who by the way was our waitress as well. When I arrived with my husband the restaurant was at about half capacity. We were promptly seated at a small table near the rear. As the capacity grew, I noticed that 2 additional couples had been seated in the same section at the same type of smaller table. I mention this because, the only 3 African American couples in the restaurant were seated near the rear, at these smaller tables, while other couples were seated at larger tables near the rear or at tables closer to the front of the restaurant. Maybe this was a huge coincidence, but none the less I brought this to the attention of the manager, who immediately stated that the restaurant was not racist. I informed her that I was not stating that. The service and food were great, but the optics of the situation did not look good and that they should acknowledge that behavior and correct it in the future.

Wonderfully located off Inman Park tucked in a calmer grove, you will find MF Sushi. A clean interior design with a warm ambiance will be the essence of your experience here. The perfect appetizer bite was none other than the spicy tuna avocado balls. Don’t forget the miso soup, the flavor profile is insane. They keep ginger & wasabi table-side & even the quality of these fundamental ingredients speak to the dedication of craft here. I have had signature nigiri, the toro, o-toro, but what I keep coming back to are the traditional maguro, hamachi, & kampachi nigiri. The simplicity of these ingredients that are so clean in presentation & flavors are hard to top, especially when you compare prices. Now we are talking rolls, number one in my books is the lobster tempura roll, narrowly followed by the negi salmon roll. I’ve tried several others including the box rolls & none have hit the spot like these two.MF Sushi will be one of those establishments where you can’t go wrong, so go ahead & book your table now.

Had a simple short dinner, with a little nigiri and some sake. Food quality and presentation were great. Our table was extremely small, next to a waiters stand, and wobbly though. So it dampened the experience a little since the meal wasn’t exactly cheap. Likely will just sit at the sushi bar next

Sushi, mainly salmon, was poor quality and should not have been served not even on an off night. This experience was on a Friday night. We didn't complain since we were tourist and chalked it up as bad night. Won't be a next time for me though, not for that money.

As good as advertised but if loud restaurants aren't your thing this may not be for you. Soft shell crab tempura was one of the best I've ever had anywhere! Yellowtail sashimi - like steaks of buttery goodness you won't forget.

If you enjoy the varuous textures of sushi and seafood, it's done well here. If you like sushi, you'll enjoy it! If you aren't an expert with sushi, it might feel like you're overpaying. At the end of the day, I enjoy sushi, and it didn't blow my mind. However, there are a couple of dishes that I want to eat again! If you're a certified black hole like me and want to walk out with a full stomach, I estimate you'll have to pay about 60 bucks a person. No complaints. Just left wondering if I could've gotten the same for less, and I dont think I could've unless atlanta was on the coast.Get the stuff with Toro!

Our waitress was excellent. She was very attentive and thorough with her service. Unfortunately - as with every "Japanese" restaurant I have visited in the United States, the quality of food was nowhere near worth the tab.

Every single thing we ordered was amazing!! We had miso soup with mushrooms, Wakame salad, tuna avocado balls, salmon tataki, salmon sashimi, yellow tail sashimi, baked scallops (loved this so much we got seconds), and the tempura lobster and cucumber roll. The lychee martini was also a hit. The restaurant ambiance and our service were lovely, and I definitely recommend this spot!.

Service was nice. Sushi was very average and underwhelming. I had been wanting to try this place for a while and I was not impressed. Not worth the money. We had 4 different rolls from their “Specialty Rolls” and none were good. Crunchy rice with salmon was decent. Their nigiri was also decent. I would stick to ordering nigiri over their sushi. Will stick to Eight Sushi Lounge in ATL.
