Food was great! Employees were friendly! They even had homemade bracelets that a little girl made and was selling that are going to make great gifts. I’ll definitely visit again when I’m in the area!

Very nice and quaint mexican restaurant if you don't want to be around large crowds. It's sad that the restaurant will close in November, but I Wish the Family nothing but the best.

We just moved to the neighborhood and we are so glad we decided to try this spot! So SO yummy, affordable, and the kindest people. We had cheese dip, steak tacos, enchiladas, & tamales. We loved every bite! I really loved their beans ? we just read the owners are retiring and closing in November. This makes me sad but I wish them the best & I guess we will just have to go as much as we can before closing day!

I enjoyed it all. Been driving by going to Oakland Cemetery. Finally saw it open when I was leaving Oakland. When in and sat down. Server came and took our order. They made sure they understood the order. They informed us of anything they were out of. The food came and it was DELICIOUS! Then the place closed up right after we finished. The hours that they are open are not typical so you have to catch them at the right time. But it is worth it! Thank you Mi Barrio!

I love Mi Barrio. It's family owned and authentic. The food is fresh and indulgent, and the owner is incredibly kind.

Edit 5 years later: Still some of the best Mexican food in Atlanta, but they're getting priced out by all the development. Please support this family business! Places like Mi Barrio made this city worth living in!!!

Food was great home cooked feel with faniky style environment but the guacamole ? is not the best wouldn’t recommend, but everything else was A1 including the margaritas ?
