Went there on Sunday, May 5. They were NOT open. Online it said open from 3-9pm everyday of the week. Got there and they were NOT open.Looks like the building was abandoned. Lights off, open sign off, nobody in there, doors locked. They need to verify their hours, we drove almost 30 minutes there all excited to try their ice cream and they weren’t open. We will NOT be back.

I took my daughter here today simply because the wait at Ben & Jerrys for Free Cone Day was extremely long and this place was close to home. We decided to give it a try and it didn't go as hoped. We walked in and had a question so I said "excuse me", but was completely ignored. When I say ignored I mean that I thought for a minute or two that maybe she had a hearing issue. I realized that the one young lady "working" had ear buds in and couldn't hear me. The disdain all over her face for having to serve the overpriced treats made the already empty and sterile environment even more unpleasant. We place our order @ $10 per cup to get a paltry amount of ice cream. The toppings were good, but at the end of the day it was a lot of money for a small amount of icecream. All that the visit accomplished after finishing my cup was to make me think about where I will get the next sugary fix.

Vegan options are more expensive on top of the already expensive ice cream and the store has been under decorated since it opened last August. They don’t tip their employees properly and the owners are money-hungry. I can understand a place that takes pride in their hand made ice cream, but it was ridiculous. There was only one properly working bathroom for at least the first 4/5 months. They have also a few health code violations that also need to be addressed (roaches, fruit flies, better ways to store ingredients, etc)Dietary restrictions: Not great. No toppings that were very accommodating to my allergies other than maybe one fruit.Parking: Only place to park is neighborhood streetsWheelchair accessibility: Not great if your wheelchair is rather large. The doorway/entrance is rather small

I worked here for about 4/5 months. They would not pay me my tips in card and would not even be efficient with cash tips. I had to ask and ask and ask for any response for over a month. Eventually, they fired me for the persistent asking because I threatened to talk to my attorney. STILL nothing…. When they said they couldn’t help me, I asked for the number of the owner because I have met her and I know who she is. I was told they weren’t allowed to do that.. she’s my boss too?? Like what?Trust me, they do not treat their employees right and they do not do well with ADA/Disability accommodations. I asked to receive a chair in the back where I can take breaks due to my disability(s). They said sure and I was like okay great! When I actually needed it, it was nowhere to be found in the entire store. When I followed up, they’d said it should be there and it was not. They eventually told me to just sit in the front despite one of the whole reasons for my needing breaks was for social exhaustion due to my neurological disability (autism) and for back pain when it is debilitating. Customers do NOT like to see workers in the front just sitting around on their phones. Even when I did sit down, I was told that I wasn’t allowed to take breaks when it was “busy” (there were 2 customers) which then defeated the entire purpose of my needing breaks again.Please don’t give them money if they won’t even give us, the (former) employees, what they deserve.They fired people left and right around December 2023/January 2024. And now all of these other reviews are saying that they need to hire more staff… THEY FIRED US ALL WITH NO WARNING OR PROPER INCENTIVE!!!! They were giving all of their hours to the newer employees and practically forcing the original employees (me included) off the schedule.They would ghost us and remove us from all platforms in which we were in contact. They said their original second store failed… I wonder why..Heath standards are also not great.. i got 0 on my tax returns under tips from them. Don’t waste your money.

I want to like this place… the first time we came during business hours and they were closed. The second I got ice cream for the kiddos but there was nobody there so it felt a little sad. The most recent time I came we waited 45 minutes and still waiting…… Saturday night, one person working, she keeps taking orders and taking peoples money without mentioning that it will take her an hour to actually get your ice cream. I want this place to work. Please hire someone!

I was with my family in midtown because we own businesses around the area.We were looking for rolled ice cream and this place was the closest to us.The girl that took our order gave us the worst costumer service ever, she was moody AF, miserable face, she didn’t even say hi to us ( the place was completely empty) I asked her if there was Nutella flavor, she didn’t even looked at me, and just nodded NO with her head. After that, I realized they actually do have hazelnut flavor as an option, but she obviously didn’t care and never gave me the option of trying that option that’s similar to Nutella .You can tell not many people enter the place, and as a business owner I can tell you that having employees with such horrible attitude won’t help your business grow . She made me feel depressed just by seeing her face.Not sure what was her problem with us, we came with best intentions to spend money and for all of us to get ice cream, but after dealing with her attitude, we just ordered 2 ice creams and left ( we were 5 people) We obviously never coming back. You need to hire people that actually want to work, if she doesn’t like her job, she should look for a different one .Overpriced for what you get . Not worth it at all.

I literally found myself at Mixins 4 times within a week… IN THE WINTER! One day I randomly had a taste for them & of course they were closed! So now, I call to hear a voice lol. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the combinations & I even got my mom addicted ?. I make it a goal to try something different each time and they haven’t failed me! I’ll be back VERY soon!! And to add…the staff ALWAYS get me together! I haven’t came across not one rude member and it is VERY CLEAN! Being that’s the first thing I observe when entering ANY establishment. 10 STARS!Kid-friendliness: It’s ice cream! What’s more kid friendly than that ?
This ice cream is very, VERY good. I've been three times but only eaten twice, and one was a time my hubby went on his own and brought me some back. Unfortunately the staff is quite rude, I've never been greeted when entered so I always have to prep myself for less than stellar service. I also walked out once because I stood there for 5 minutes in the back of a line with no one greeting me, only to realize it was friends of the staff just there to chat and eat. I'll return but hope the staff receive some training.

Hate to see this place always empty every time I drive by it so hoping my review will get noticed that will entice more people to come here! This place is as simple as it gets. 11 items to choose from. There's a menu list where you order that details the ingredients in each item. They did still have some holiday offerings, so I'm assuming they have seasonal items throughout the year. There was one employee working and she was finishing up an order, so I waited a few minutes until I could place my order. I opted for the Apple a la mode - served rolled ice cream style. The base was vanilla mixed with graham crackers and cinnamon apple topped with more graham crackers, cinnamon apple and cinnamon sugar. The employee asked if I wanted and opted out. After a few minutes, my order was ready. The ice cream was delicious and had little bits of apple. I loved the addition of graham crackers for the crunch.
