Don’t know where to start. Finally, an authentic caribbean/Jamaican restaurant in ATL. The food as well as the service is top notch, and quite frankly, this place deserves more than 5 stars. Their drinks are great as well—the Bob Marley and the rum punch, are my favorite drinks. What I love most about this place is that it makes you feel like you are back on the islands. From the music to the food—it makes you feel as though you transported to Jamaica. Everything I had so far was excellent (pls try their patties and coco bread —to meIt is the best I have had since moving to ATL 3 yrs ago from Brooklyn) and their brunch is on point! I have been to this place 4 times and they have not disappointed me or my husband. I will be back again!

Being jamaican, I have high standards for my jamaican food spots. This place is IT. Exceptionally authentic tasting food, very delicious. The stew snapper hit! The curry goat? Tender and seasoned just right. Also had the bread pudding which i highhhhly reccomend and the rum ice cream which is homemade was delicious (although could be frozen harder). Drinks were OK - overly sweet with those syrup mixers, i prefer my cocktails more like an elixir with fresh juice and herbs. Excellent service at the bar, friendly and attentive staff. Overall, 100% visit again.

I love the decor of this restaurant and drinks look pretty and were good too. Service was awesome but be warned though it’s 18% gratuity included. The stew fish could have used a little more spice and snapper could have bigger for the price. I would definitely come back though to try a different dish.

WONDERFUL JUST SNEAKY-First time visiting this wonderful little Jamaican restaurant. Walked in to a beautifully decorated place that really made you feel like it was Jamaica! I had the oxtail dinner and it was absolutely amazing, tender, tasty and lots of flavour! The bartender is so nice greeted me with a smile and attended to me right away. Wait staff needed some training on customer greetings, no Hi or Hello, it's just "Ready to order?" I felt like I was bothering her. After I had my wonderful meal, I received my bill, tipped 18%, but didn't realize that there was already an 18% gratuity charge applied. It was only after i received my final charge that i questioned why my bill was so high. When i asked i was told its stated on the bottom of the bill. How often do you read the bottom of the billl?? I was told it's a mandatory charge PER PERSON when you dine in.I wish I had read the reviews before, many past guests have complaint of the same service and charges.Beware and don't double tip like i did. Its too bad I would have made this restaurant my top pick as I loved the food despite of the poor wait staff but now i wont return just because the charges are too expensive.
My colleague treated me to lunch here today Tuesday, March 19th for my birthday. I had the oxtails with rice and peas and cabbage and a side of plantain. The oxtails were not tender and small. The oxtail gravy was watery. The plantains were flat and had too much salt on them. My colleague had a curry veggie plate. Needless to say the food was just okay. Definitely not the best Jamaican food I’ve ever eaten. I’m reading all of these other reviews now I’m really disappointed that I didn’t have the same tasty experience. My oxtails needed to be cooked longer because the meat was tough, hard to pull away from the bones and not much meat on them for the price.

I love Jamaican food. I live more in the Smyrna area so I typically eat at a place on my side of town but wanted to venture out. Everything was pleasing as far as presentation and the jerk chicken was great! The love Language drink was presented so cute. The only downside in comparison to the place I go to was the prices.
