Excellent food quality. Reminds you of old-fashioned BBQ. I used Door Dash so the service and atmosphere aren't able to be accurately rated.

First time ordering from here. It’ll be my last. I ordered Via Uber Eats. Just took a chance. Just wanted a yummy southern Sunday SuperBowl Dinner. I got the veggie plate) The food had absolutely no flavor whatsoever. There was no soul in this food at all lol The greens tasted like nothing. The yams flavorless as well. A bit watery. I got the smallest scoop of mac and cheese known to man I think. I ate that mac in two bites lol Literally. I’m devastated it’s gone and I’m still hungry! lol There was nothing tasty or memorable about this food sadly. And on top of that I didn’t even get a piece of cornbread! Like cmon man smh I also ordered the “peach cobbler” let’s call it peachless cobbler. It was basically just a cup of mushy dough and 1 tiny peach piece(you can see it sticking out in the picture) lol Where’s the crust? Where’s the saucy peaches?!! The mushy dough didn’t taste bad. It was flavorful but it wasn’t peach cobbler. More like peach flavored dough dump lol. Idk lol smh I had high hopes for this place man. I can’t find good soul food anywhere in the city man.

Customer service was not good at all. It’s this one lady who works in the front who has a nasty attitude , which would make you not want to return.

I had high expectations for this place. It was a hole in a wall however customer service and hospitality were phenomenal. We even watched football while we patiently waited for our food. After working on our order for a while, when we got home we discovered that we received ALOT of fat on the beef rib. That was 42.99 “market price” for literally one Dinosaur rib with 1/3 fat and a dinosaur bone to the side. They should have a picture of what you are ordering. There is no way ppl would assume that’s what it is being placed in a aluminum family pan. Brisket was delicious however didn’t appear to be 1 pound but maybe it was. The slices were super thick. The okra, beef sausage, yams, cornbread, and bbq sauce was good. The collard greens were not. Too vinegary and tasted old. Was missing a side of mac & cheese as well as slaw on the sausage from our order. We paid over $90 since they also charged 4% for credit card fee. Was never informed so that we may have the option to pay fully in cash. Also, Missing food from an order is just unacceptable for me. Nothing is more frustrating when you are feeding more than yourself a meal/dinner to then drive all the way home to realize you have food missing or plainly unsatisfactory experience for the money spent. If the bags were not tied so tight, customers like me would more than likely check our order before leaving. That is something to discuss with the staff. I will not come back.

When I tell yall, this is my mfn spot, I mean it!!!!! I eat here at least once or twice a month, and they never disappoint!!! The turkey burger is soooo fire , the turkey ribs always gone in a few minutes, and the homemade chicken nuggets are fried to perfection 😍 I’m a baked bean and macaroni combo type of gal, the consistency in the flavor is the same everytime; good asf!!!! Not to mention I’ve brought many friends here to eat, everyone loves it!!!

My husband refers to the meat as "devil's meat," and after trying Mr. Pig's Smokehouse, I can see why. We were honestly confused about what we had ordered. Everything tasted like someone was just experimenting in the kitchen after maybe a bit too much relaxation. The macaroni and greens were dry, but I will admit, that was the best part of the two plates we bought. Maybe it's our fault for ordering late, but that doesn’t excuse the food looking strange and misleading. The brisket didn’t look or taste like brisket at all, and the peach cobbler was downright disgusting. We won’t be coming back, and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Why say you are open if you are closed 😁
I've been passing by this place for years and was really judging it by the way that it looked on the outside so I never bothered to check it out. Recently a friend treated me to dinner there and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was great, the prices were reasonable (especially for a New Atlanta restaurant) and the inside is nicer than I'd imagined. The two young women behind the counter were sweet. I'd definitley eat here again.
