We will definitely be returning. Food aside, Sean's friendliness and overall hospitality was refreshing. You don't get that from the food industry nowadays. He visited our table a couple times to answer our questions, chat with us, and give us tips on how to maximize our meal experience (like encouraging us to use the palate cleanser, and trying my side with my chicken. You can tell he cares about the customer experience. Thanks, Sean! Now, onto the food. 10/10. The chicken was juicy and crispy. The sauces were on point. The Cheese Fries were addictive! The Korean Slaw was sooo refreshing and flavorful (and it has a kick!). The Cheese Corn was pretty good. The restaurant was very clean, and the art was nice! We can't wait to go back and try more sauces and menu options.

Mukja chicken is goooood. The wings are crispy and flavorful. The radish served with the chicken is pickled nicely (on the sour side, my favorite) and I would also recommend Korean Slaw. It has a spicy umami flavor and balances well with the chicken. Nice little spot with a couple parking spaces in front, and theres also a parking deck you can use behind the building if youre worried about parking.

Food was hot, but it is not authentic Korean food. KFC and Popeyes has better tasting fried chicken than this place.

Some of the most delicious chicken I've ever had. The Korean inspired sauces are excellent, and the food is always fresh! The staff are very friendly and do a good job of making you feel welcome, and the atmosphere is pleasant. Highly recommend to anyone!

The Korean fried chicken was fresh, crispy and spicy. Personally I didn’t prefer the sauce for the flavor was singed into the chicken. The fries were very good and I took an order to go. So I really did like it. The cheese corn left something to be desired but overall I think it was a good eat!

I've been to Mukja a couple of times, and I LOVE the Korean Fried Chicken, as is the Slaw and Bird on Bun (thigh!!). Love the sauces and pickles. Very tasty, fresh, and well-seasoned. Nice people working there. Nice owner. The atmosphere could use a little more warmth, but no big deal-it is fast casual. Maybe good music instead of TV? Appreciate the paper boxes and containers to cut down on plaster c in takeout. A++ if they move to paper bags. They are a bit hidden on Peachtree Pl, otherwise they'd likely be packed often. Highly recommend! I believe they validate parking in the lot next door. I usually walk. Support small local biz!

I was hoping for a similar experience like I had in a similar place in Berlin. However, here they don't offer the choice of boneless/with bones. And apparently the only boneless options are Tendies and Bird in a Bun. So instead of Half Bird which I wanted initially, I had to go with Tendies. It was good, I cannot complain, good meat, nice sauce, liked cheese corn as well. But it would be great to have a boneless option for other menu positions.

Best Korean Fried Chicken in Atlanta. I normally order from doordash but I went in like 45 minutes before they closed (felt so guilty) and the young lady (black here/closing shift on 3/28/2024) was AMAZING. You never expect stellar customer service at a little chicken spot but she was handling to-go orders, cleaning the lobby, and taking orders AND WAS STILL SO NICE AND KIND! These are the people that elevate your business.

The mukja bowl was soo tasty- me and the people I came with all had some and agreed that it was great. I liked the bird on the bun- it was saucy and had a good amount of slaw on top. Unfortunately, the combos didn’t come with drinks so bird on the bun $13, a drink is $2.50 (* they are refillable though). The Korean loaded fries were okay, I didn’t like the comeback sauce that was on it though- it’s zesty. The kimchi is very good and spicy, it was even good to me with the Mac and cheese. The Mac was sorta basic though, not very flavorful itself and the amount in the container was visibly low. I asked them to top it off and they added more kimchi on top which was okay but for $5 and it being in a small container, please don’t skimp. There is a Coca Cola freestyle machine in the restaurant. The customer service seemed good, the lady who helped us was really nice and helped me with the Mac and cheese getting topped. I wish there were more items to try, next time I’ll try the wings.-Thank you to the owners for the response, I just wanted to add details from my visit in case it would be helpful for others. We were fine with paying for the parking as we expected we might. Thank you for adding the information about validating parking as I didn’t know that and everything else is understandable!Parking: There are a couple of parking spaces in front of the entrance but they weren’t available so we had to pay for parking in the deck across from it. Since we sat inside and ate, it was more than 30 minutes we were there and had to pay $8 parking in total.

Food was absolutely delicious & with the meal I feel like you get a lot for your money. However, the employees should be aware of food allergens. I asked what type of oil they use (I'm allergic to peanuts) and no one knew. This is a management issue & they should inform employees.
