I love the neighborhood feel of Murphy's even though I am not from the neighborhood. The food and service were excellent!!

It was a delightful dining experience. The food was delicious, staff friendly and helpful, and it was not too noisy! All around a great evening.

As always, the service and ambiance were exceptional. The steak frites was so so, but didn't seem freshly prepared. Perhaps like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while before coming out, as the gravy began to coagulate. Otherwise a perfect experience.

We enjoyed our dinner with family - wide selection of entrees and we enjoyed sharing the ample servings of appetizers and desserts.

Excellent dining experience at Murphy's! The food and service are continuously great, and the atmosphere is fun and lively which still feeling very comfortable and cozy. Gives off local/neighborhood-y vibes yet still elevated. The in-house wine shop and café ensure the drinks are always delicious.

Amazing restaurant. The food is delicious and the atmosphere very pleasant — both casual & romantic. A real treasure is hiding in Virginia-Highlands. Tip…order the calamari—it’s the best east of the Mississippi River!

This is the place where brunch is so good, I was sorry when I found out it's served only on weekends.

Might be the best brunch in the city. I’d go back just for the free muffins and biscuits alone.

It just wasn’t as flavorful as I’m used to. It was a good experience I just didn’t love it, the steak was cooked well, almost perfect. One side cooked more than the other and it lacked seasoning. The smoke from wood was present. My daughter’s burger was under seasoned and tougher than expected. My wife had the brisket and she enjoyed it but didn’t eat her vegetables which were under seasoned. The fries came out cold and needed salt. I would eat here again definitely, but would have to been near. I’m not going outof my way, its in a restaurant haven

Our server was Luca, and he was awesome! The ambience is so NYC, it's got jazzy music, great art and lighting. We ordered the eggs mulligan (5/5) and the chilaquiles (4/5, a little soggy). They tailor the eggs to however style you want which is a nice touch. Got an iced mocha, and it was great. They provide complementary biscuits and muffins which had a fantastic flavor profile and were moist. Great experience overall, will be back.

They’ve added a tent for increased seating directly off the patio. The temperature was controlled well and it was comfortable. It’s still a tent. If atmosphere is of utmost importance wait for an inside table.
