Had a friend come into town and asked me to take him here again. Prices that are reasonable.

We love eating out. Last night we went to this superb place which friends recommended to us. We had a lovely evening there with excellent cooking and a courteous team and a great chief cook. We put this place in our phone list and we will surely go again soon. We highly recommend.

They've moved, but I don't know where. If you find out, go try it!

Everything was too salty or too sweet but the people were really nice! Chef may just have had a bad day. It happens. The thing about soul food is it just needs to get better for the body. Less salt, less sugar and less fat. Keep the flavor!

Food too pricey for quility. Fish over cooked waitress had an attitude. Will never go back.

Just so everyone knows because we did not it is like a cafeteria at a college. when we walked in there was a big dining room with tables and no one to greet us so we were confused if we were in the right location. I'm not sure if the AC does not work on a regular basis but this day it was hot! Once we seen someone who work there to service they have a buffet line. the buffet included baked chicken mac and cheese collard greens yams and maybe one or two other items. It remind you of true southern soul food. The greens and the mac and cheese were my favorite. The yams tasted as if they came out of a can which was kind of disappointing. Unfortunately I did not get a piece of the fried fish. The baked chicken was okay. The fried Chicken was good. The Arnold Palmer was delicious. Overall the experience was okay. If you're looking to have slight taste of Grandma's cooking without AC this might be the place for you.

Good food, but the prices have jumped dramatically for the buffet (from ~$12 to $25 per person). Used to be a no brainer but the price makes you think twice about whether to visit there now or not.
