This was my family's very first time visiting this establishment, and it was Great!!! I have read almost all the reviews and if there was anything that was stated negatively, it is an outright LIE!!! The food was delicious and the restaurant was very nice and clean. We will be back to eat here, again!!!
Thank you to the cook and our waitress!

This place is unsafe, I bought food here and my entire family got sick, the steak was grill hard and dry. The plantain tasted old, and so did the steak. My advice stay away from the place. The handling of food is horrible and unsafe. We all got food poisoning.

Keren was patiently enthusiastic with me asking about everything. Ordered fresh Zobo, handmade meat pie. Chofi was perfect with the best side spice mixture. And of course, had to see how Jollof w/goat stacked up. Solid. Wish I had ability to try all the soup offerings, like Egusi, and Palm Nut. Lady Chef came out to hear my review. Super nice chat. My new favorite food place. Ghanian = good stuff.

I’m just disappointed this go round!!! The food is always good but they played me with this portion.. $28.50 for this size okra soup is insane .. I woulda just waited until they made more .. they used a bigger bowl and attempted to put what they would in smaller bowl.. but this is even 40 percent less than would usual come In the smaller bowl.. I’m so mad I could cry .. played in my face! I usually eat on their soup for two days this is like a snack! Keep in mind I havent even started eating yet! More grease than soup!

If there was a way for me to give 0 stars I would, I ordered fufu and egusi, and the egusi was the most watered down un seasoned food I ever had 0/10 wouldn’t recommend!!

Absolutely Disgusting and Unsafe – Avoid at All Costs

I placed a $100+ order from Nations Cafe & Lounge on uber eats that included Goat Stew, Jamaican Beef Patty, Supreme Tomato Onion Sauce, and Curry Chicken. Not only was the Curry Chicken missing entirely, but the biggest shock came with the fufu — there was a baby cockroach embedded in the food.

Let that sink in. A roach cooked into the fufu, sealed in plastic wrap, and served as if this was normal. That is a public health hazard. No food establishment should be operating under conditions where this is even possible.

This place is clearly failing basic sanitation. If roaches are in the food, imagine what’s behind the kitchen doors. The rating I gave (1 stars) does not reflect the true horror of this experience; it should be negative stars if that were allowed.

To anyone considering eating here: don’t. You are risking your health. There’s no excuse for this level of negligence. I’ll be reporting this to the health department, and I strongly urge others to do the same.

The man that was running the place (and the only person in the place), was very nice, good personality. I ordered me Lamb Suya, which is supposed to have been tender pieces of lamb with a side of sliced onion tomato and something else I forgot. But the lamb was very hard pieces that I could hardly chew, there were about three tender pieces in it that had a good flavor, but for the most part it was all dried out. And a few slices of onion, (pieces really), I had to ask for more onions. I didn't get no tomatoes. And it was $16 but the portion was only about $8 worth. But I wouldn't recommend going to eat there
