Food was great & the staff were very nice. The restaurant itself was not clean. You could visibly see how dirty the tables were & the one we were seated at needed to be wiped down as well. They were out of most of the drinks on their menu & the waiter was not knowledgeable.

Good customer service, mediocre food, slow kitchen, not worth the wait or price. I really wanted to like this place, but the food was not authentic Jamaican. I ordered j*** chicken. The chicken just tasted like charred BBQ chicken, no j*** flavor, the cabbage was just short of raw and unseasoned, can't give opinion on the rice& peas because the little bit that I got was mixed in the cabbage. Disappointed. But the servers, especially the young lady from NYC and the Jamaican...

This Amazing restaurant is a short walk from the Fox Theatre and situated in an old firehouse. The Caribbean menu has many options for all dietary needs. We had shrimp and grits and brown stew chicken which was fall of the bone tender. Both dishes were hearty and flavorful. There was a full bar with great drinks. Everyone from the hostess to the waitstaff were friendly and accommodating. We couldn’t ask for anything better and will be back.
