Nice experience, great service. Prices are as expected for the situation but don't expect anything insanely great. More so a pay rate for the standard/status. I come here a few times so I'm not complaining at all but just for your insight you can expect to pay ~$100 for 2 sandwiches and a drink.
NMC has always been my favorite lunch spot, but this time it seemed to be slipping. The chicken salad was dry on a dry bed of stems. The fruit salad had no poppy seed dressing. The blueberry muffin was stale. The chicken broth came late. The flowers on the table were dead. I'm rarely a complainer, but I don't want to give up on my favorite spot. I hope this was an isolated case. The host gets five gold stars. He was positive, friendly, and very polite.
Terrible experience. I have eaten at Neiman's for literally decades, long before it was renamed to the cafe, when it was the Zodiac. The food quality, value, and general experience have fallen off a cliff. We were a party of five, for a birthday brunch. Arrived for a 1pm reservation. We were informed that their signature bread (i.e. the popover), would take 25 minutes. That (in my opinion) is a shocking failure of management. In the middle of lunch hour, to not have your bread prepared... Next, they have changed the ingredients of another menu staple, the mandarin orange souffle. What was a salad I looked forward to as consistently (read: decades) good, is now tasteless. Next, we ordered two hamburgers, (another menu staple), requested medium, and both came out well done (i.e. completely brown). Next, a tuna melt was delivered on two very small pieces of bread that instantly became soggy and impossible to pick up. Next, we waited far too long (with empty champagne glasses) for the second round of drinks. While our waitress was seemingly trying, she had no help and apparently didn't ask for any. I needed to ask TWICE for another server to find my waitress. I dine out often and I am beyond patient. The cafe was not so busy as to justify the very poor service. In summary, food quality, overpriced, poor management, poor service. I am sad to say that I will not be returning anytime soon, and I would not recommend the Cafe to anyone.
Slow service; not worth $113 for two people; bathroom could use a little TLC and dogs should not be allowed in a restaurant.
We went for afternoon tea and had an amazing time. We learned that you need to call ahead and not just make a reservation as a deposit has to be paid in advance. However, instead of turning us away, the manager ensured that we were able to still enjoy the experience and we had the best time. The food, service, and overall experience were great. We will be back.
The bbq chicken quesadillas are so good. And the Blueberry lemon drop was ELITE! I had two of them.
My favorite lunch spot in Atlanta! Jada has a refreshing personality and gives great attention to details.
Food was ok I don’t expect much from a clothing store restaurant however the service at the bar was good and drinks were solid. The bartender was attentive and made good drinks and was friendly, I believe her name was Kristina. Definitely a nice environment to patronize after a day of spending your hard earned money.

A very civilized experience. The Cafe offers a short but varied menu perfect for lunch, including a number of delicious cocktails. The soups and mains were excellent, the service attentive and professional in a way that is unusual these days. The vibe is leisurely and warm, encouraging lingering and conversation. Once you've decided which table you like the most, you'll want to return to it over and over again!
Good afternoon- I would like the servers to be more willing to make eye contact with patrons, especially if there are requests needed without having to wait so long. Enjoy dining here as it is a welcome respite in my day.

Not sure why the new chef decided to change the recipe for the She Crab soup, but it was a terrible decision. The new version of the soup, which has been a cafe staple as long as I can remember, was terrible. There are other notable menu changes, but this (for me) was the most egregious. That soup has been perfect and consistent for years, and now it's just bad. I actually brought two newcomers with me, and they were also very disappointed. Please don't try to fix what's not broken. Revert to the old, perfect She Crab soup recipe, and please stop the miscellaneous tinkering with a great menu, including the chicken salad and the popovers. These unnecessary changes ruined what could have been a perfect afternoon.
What a jewel of a restaurant! The service was PERFECT, the food was EXCELLENT, the ambiance was WONDERFUL!!! I will be back! Thank you all so much for a delightful meal!
The service is impeccable. Very clean. However, it is very overpriced.

My friend and I sat at the bar and it was enjoyable. The food selections were awesome and the service was really good. I'm looking forward to going back and taking husband.
So disappointing! We had a late family lunch here to celebrate the end of school with our young adult daughters. This is a lunch tradition that goes back to when they were little here in Atlanta, and before that to when I was a little girl and my own mom and grandma would take me to the original Dallas Zodiac Room at NM. This was a total bummer. The service was truly terrible. The food took forever, and wasn't good. There were no popovers. My chicken salad was warm-ish, along with the accompanying orange soufflé (both typically cold). The fruit salad was missing, but there was a small spoonful of strawberries. My husband's dish was not as listed. My daughter's salmon tacos were in ice cold tortillas. My drink was not what I ordered. Really bad. Keeping a few stars for nostalgia's sake in hopes they get it together. Used to be such a charming and yummy shopping break for a girls' day out.
